Your ImpactAs an Alumni Program Project Officer, you have a strong interest in education, Africa, or impact-driven work. You will contribute to the engagement and consolidation of our alumni network. You will work closely with the Central Marketing & Communications team to make the alumni community a strong strategic asset for Enko Education.
Community Engagement
- Animate the alumni community by regularly publishing quality content on dedicated platforms, including news, job opportunities, and event information
- Engage individually with alumni to follow each person’s journey and maintain a close relationship with the network
- Moderate and facilitate exchanges within alumni groups and forums
- Identify the most active alumni and mobilise them as network ambassadors
Alumni Database Management
- Maintain and update the alumni database, ensuring information is accurate and complete
- Search for and identify alumni on LinkedIn and other platforms to enrich and complete the database
- Track the professional and academic journeys of former students on an ongoing basis
- Contribute to the structuring and continuous improvement of community management tools
Content Production & Storytelling
- Write and send a bi-monthly alumni newsletter: content curation, writing, layout, and distribution
- Create engaging content in the form of alumni portraits (interviews, testimonials, inspiring journeys)
- Build and manage a “success story bank” showcasing the achievements of Enko alumni
- Turn key community moments (achievements, events, milestones) into high-impact content
Institutional Communication & Events
- Support communication to alumni around Enko events (webinars, networking gatherings, graduation ceremonies)
- Contribute to internal and external communication related to alumni initiatives
- Adapt messaging to different audiences (recent alumni, experienced alumni, partners)
- A first experience (internship, personal project, volunteering) in communications, community management, or marketing is a plus
- We are also open to candidates with no formal experience who demonstrate exceptional potential through their projects or previous work (newsletter, blog, content page, social media account, etc.)
- Strong writing and storytelling skills (this is essential)
- Ability to create clear, structured, and engaging content across formats (social media, newsletters, internal communications, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and a natural sense of quality and consistency
- Ability to adapt tone depending on the audience (alumni, teams, external stakeholders)
- Comfortable with digital tools and professional social networks (particularly LinkedIn)
- Proactive, reliable, and able to take ownership of tasks from start to finish
- Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and incorporating feedback
