As part of the Corporate Affairs Division, the Global Sustainability & EHS department is seeking for a dynamic and motivated individual to support Ipsen’s Sustainability & EHS team as Sustainability Apprentice.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute and shape Sustainability initiatives and visibility.
Participating in both new key projects and day-to-day activities, you will play a key role in strengthening our efforts to deliver our sustainability strategy.
WHAT - Main Responsibilities & Technical Competencies
Sustainability initiatives
- Assist in the development of a cohesive approach of Sustainable initiatives within Ipsen,
- Support the coordination of global sustainability actions,
- Assist with the preparation of any relevant material or deliverables for the Sustainability team and its governance.
Sustainability visibility
- Contribute to internal communication material preparation with our Sustainability leads.
- Contribute to Generation Ipsen monthly meetings preparation & coordination
- Interact with Generation Ipsen Ambassadors & strengthen the network highlighting the ambition, the objectives, and our ambassadors’ passion.
- Ensure our content on the Intranet, and the Ipsen Sustainability section on the Corporate Affairs global Sharepoint is up to date with consistency.
Public Affairs
- Follow up European and French regulation evolution as well as stakeholders mapping & expectations,
- Research industry information and peer benchmarks (practices, tools, and strategies) to continue enhancing Ipsen Sustainability strategy over time,
Sustainability reporting
- Assist with the preparation of compliant or voluntary questionnaires related to Sustainability on an annual basis,
- Assist in the implementation of regulatory reporting.
HOW - Knowledge & Experience
The position is part of a growing but very dynamic team reporting at Global level directly to the Executive Leadership Team.The chosen candidate is agile, curious, dynamic with a strong team spirit to work in an international environment and display a keen interest in current sustainable development issues as well as their relevance in a corporate environment.
Knowledge & Experience (essential):
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong, impactful communication skills—both written and spoken.
- Proficient in PowerPoint and capable of creating compelling presentations.
- Collaborative mindset, able to work effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.
- Curious, proactive, and solutions oriented.
- Detail-oriented and hands-on, ensuring precision and execution excellence.
- Autonomous, adaptable, and fully committed to delivering results.
Knowledge & Experience (preferred):
Experience in global and multicultural environments is a plus.
Language(s) (essential):
Fluent in both English and French.
