GE Energy Power Conversion recherche un(e) stagiaire Bac+4/5, rigoureux(se) et motivé(e), pour accompagner les activités du service Douane dans un cadre à haute valeur ajoutée.
📝 Missions principales
Au sein du service Douane (Direction Achats), vous interviendrez sur un périmètre international, en collaboration étroite avec les équipes achats, logistique, finance, commerciales et juridiques. Vos missions incluront :
🔍 Conformité réglementaire & gouvernance douanière
- Appliquer et faire appliquer les politiques douanières internes, en conformité avec les exigences européennes et internationales
- Assurer une approche rigoureuse du triptyque Espèce – Valeur – Origine, fondement de la conformité douanière
📦 Classement tarifaire des marchandises
- Participer activement à la classification douanière (nomenclature SH/TARIC) :
- Analyse des données techniques et documentation produit
- Traitement des Open PO Reports et demandes des Business Units
- Collaboration avec les référents classements pour fiabiliser les codes douaniers
🌍 Détermination et justification de l’origine douanière
- Contribuer à la détermination de l’origine (préférentielle et non préférentielle) des biens :
- Collecte des preuves d’origine (certificats fournisseurs, documentation technique)
- Intégration des données dans les outils internes pour calculer l’origine réglementaire
- Suivi de la traçabilité de l’origine dans les flux internes et externes
💶 Valorisation en douane
- Participer à l’analyse et à la fiabilisation de la valeur en douane :
- Revue des éléments de valorisation (prix, frais annexes, commissions, redevances)
- Collaboration avec les parties prenantes internes (achats, finance, transport)
- Application des procédures standards (SOP) pour assurer la cohérence des déclarations
🔧 Suivi de la performance & amélioration continue
- Élaborer des tableaux de bord et outils de suivi de l’activité douanière
- Suivre les KPI qualitatifs et quantitatifs de l’activité des déclarants (RDE)
- Participer à des projets de digitalisation et de fiabilisation des données douanières
📑 Obligations déclaratives & archivage
- Contribuer au respect des obligations déclaratives, notamment EMBI (ex-DEB)
- Assurer l’archivage structuré des documents douaniers et le maintien des bases de données

GE Energy Power Conversion is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bachelor's/Master's level intern (4th or 5th year of higher education) to support the activities of the Customs Department in a high-value, international environment.
📝 Key ResponsibilitiesWorking within the Customs Department (Procurement Division), you will support international customs operations in close collaboration with Procurement, Logistics, Finance, Sales, and Legal teams. Your responsibilities will include:
🔍 Regulatory Compliance & Customs GovernanceApply and promote internal customs policies in compliance with European and international regulations.
Ensure a rigorous approach to the three fundamental pillars of customs compliance: Tariff Classification – Customs Value – Origin.
Actively contribute to customs tariff classification (HS/TARIC nomenclature), including:
Analyzing technical data and product documentation.
Processing Open PO Reports and Business Unit requests.
Collaborating with tariff classification specialists to ensure the accuracy and consistency of customs codes.
Support the determination of both preferential and non-preferential origin of goods by:
Collecting proof of origin (supplier certificates, technical documentation, etc.).
Entering data into internal systems to determine regulatory origin.
Monitoring the traceability of origin throughout internal and external supply chain flows.
Assist in analyzing and validating customs value by:
Reviewing valuation components (purchase price, additional costs, commissions, royalties, etc.).
Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including Procurement, Finance, and Logistics.
Applying Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and accuracy of customs declarations.
Develop dashboards and reporting tools to monitor customs activities.
Track qualitative and quantitative KPIs related to customs declaration performance (RDE).
Contribute to digitalization initiatives and continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing customs data quality and reliability.
Support compliance with customs reporting obligations, including EMBI (formerly DEB).
Ensure the structured archiving of customs documentation and the maintenance of customs databases.

Skills Required
- Enrolled in Bac+4/5 (Master level) or equivalent (intern/work-study)
- Knowledge of customs regulations including tariff classification (HS/TARIC), origin rules, and customs valuation
- Ability to analyze technical product documentation and process Open PO reports
- Experience or ability to develop dashboards and reporting tools to monitor customs KPIs
- Strong organizational skills for structured archiving and database maintenance
- Cross-functional collaboration skills with Procurement, Logistics, Finance, Sales and Legal
- Good communication skills in French and English
