AltaGas - People Services Coordinator, Talent Acquisition

We are looking for a People Services Coordinator to provide critical operational and coordination support across the recruitment lifecycle. This role sits at the intersection of Talent Acquisition, People Services, candidates, hiring leaders, and internal stakeholders, ensuring hiring processes move smoothly, accurately, and efficiently from initial interview scheduling through onboarding.

What You'll Do
Coordinate and manage complex interview scheduling Enterprise wide across multiple functions and time zones
Initiate, track and troubleshoot pre-employment background checks and verifications resolving delays or discrepancies and working with internal partners on escalations or issues
Manage the administrative workflow from offer acceptance through Day 1, ensuring documentation, communication, data and approvals are accurate, complete and processed on time
Maintain, update and improve recruitment templates, correspondence and process documentation in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team
Validate offer details, reconcile Workday data and ensure all approvals follow governance and audit guidelines
Review Workday transactions and system-generated reports to identify and correct data inconsistencies; escalate recurring issues that indicate workflow or process gaps
Collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition and People Services to understand workflow priorities, anticipate bottlenecks and ensure smooth handoffs
Provide administrative support for recurring Talent Acquisition programs and initiatives
What You'll Bring
1-2 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, or a professional environment involving coordination, administration, and stakeholder support
Experience managing multiple priorities and high-volume workflows while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies, maintain data integrity, and follow structured processes
Experience working with HRIS platforms; Workday experience is considered an asset
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
A collaborative approach and the ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
Sound judgment, professionalism, and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately
Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
