This role is responsible to deliver well surveillance services under the ProductionLink Expert services. Optimize, troubleshoot and improve artificial lift system performance in order to meet customer operational goals (production, runtime, uptime, etc). Remotely adjusts system performance as well conditions change. Creates and maintains analytical artificial lift model in the platform to aid in system optimization efforts. Captures and develops successful impact events and case studies to improve market share and justify services. Collaborates with regional technical SMEs and customers to build system operational strategy to meet targets.

As an ALS Optimization and Monitoring Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering artificial lift well surveillance services under the Production Link Expert services to global customers using the Production Link platform.
  • Remotely adjust and optimizes ESP (electrical submersible pump) systems in order to meet customer goals (production, runtime, uptime, etc)
  • Identifying successful impact events to support service value added.
  • Capturing and generating successful case studies based on optimization actions delivered to customers.
  • Communicating with customers to recommend ESP optimization strategies.
  • Preparing, delivering and presenting monthly KPI reports to customers to demonstrate progress and justify services.
  • Creating and updating well analytics model to evaluate sizing model against the system real time performance.
  • Following customer customized communication protocols in order to meet operational requirements.
  • Communicating and collaborating with field personnel to troubleshoot system communications (SCADA) and Variable Speed Drive (VSD) setup.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to promote an HSE interdependent culture through weekly safety moment discussions and observations.
  • Communicating across direct organization. Presents to senior leaders in specific technical spaces and on cross functional teams on how technologies interconnect and contribute to overall strategy.
  • Handling latitude in project techniques. Project process requires choosing right approaches. Employees should have technical know-how.
  • Handling diverse clients in a region. Follows frameworks to get through the processes. There is room for negotiating and client specific conditions.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma / GED.
  • Have a minimum of 4+ years of experience in Artificial Lift Systems
  • Have a minimum of 5+ year experience in Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) system operations, technical support or applications engineering.
  • Must be willing to work rotating shifts, 7 days on with 12 hour per shift & 7 days off.

Desired:

  • Have a minimum of 3 additional years of experience in artificial lift systems multi regional applications engineering or field operations.
  • Have 2+ years of experience with multiple variable speed drives control settings and operating modes
  • Have previous experience with ALS well surveillance systems
