Job Summary

Castalia Systems is seeking a Mid-Level All-Source Analyst Order of Battle (OOB) to use your specialized functional experience and your attention to detail to conduct all-source analytic production on conventional weapon system capabilities.

Roles and Responsibilities

A qualified candidate will perform the following duties and responsibilities, but are not limited to:

  • Provide production on foreign military forces order of battle and catalog OB findings in the modernized integrated database (MIDB) and Machine-assisted Analytic Rapid-repository System (MARS) database records.
  • Use your comprehensive understanding of all-source analytic tradecraft, production cycles, publication standards, community writing styles, and formats, to produce strategic-level assessments and products that address developmental and fielded foreign weapon systems and equipment.
  • As an authority on your topic, your client will look to you for comprehensive production, often under pressure.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in engineering analysis, or reverse-engineering analysis, or 7+ years of experience in engineering analysis, or reverse-engineering analysis in lieu of a degree.
  • Knowledge of IC and Combatant Command environments.
  • Experience with the Modernized Integrated Database (MIDB) or the Machine-Assisted Rapid-repository System (MARS).
  • Ability to develop high-quality deliverables, such as complex written products and formal or informal briefings tailored to clients who range from tactical to strategic levels.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years in order of battle analysis.
  • Knowledge of conventional weapons systems.
  • Experience with OSINT, GEOINT, or other specialized training.
  • Knowledge of ICD 203/206 analytic tradecraft standards.
  • Knowledge of the INDOPACOM AOR.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.

Salary at Castalia Systems is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, position knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $115,000.00 to $120,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Castalia Systems’ total compensation package for employees.
