This is what you will do:
- Senior. Manager, Sales Training is responsible for development and implementation of Japan sales training strategies, plans and processes to support the organization goal. The position ensures the targeted employees are equipped with the requisite knowledge and skills to complete their tasks successfully.
You will be responsible for:
- Collaborates with the marketing team, plans and implement mid/long term training strategies in the assigned therapeutic area.
- Plans and schedules the annual sales training program.
- Coordinates and arranges for variety types of trainings such as group trainings by Global instructors, MCC (MR of Alexion) study meetings, regional sales directors’ trainings…etc.
- Communicates with Global training team to optimize training activities.
- Identifies the MCC’s development areas and designs a training program. Determines subject content and analyze task components related to stated goals and purposes.
- Collaborates with external vendors to design and produce high-quality training materials.
- Designs and conducts assessments to examine MCCs’ academic knowledge and evaluates the effectiveness of training initiatives to ensure they meet desired outcomes..
- Monitors and keeps track of the completion status of e-learnings.
You will need to have:
- More than 5 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical company, ideally in rare disease
- More than 2 year’s experience in training field and familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc.) is plus
- MR experience is preferable
- Communication skills to reach agreement on drawing up training strategies and tactics through discussion with internal stakeholders.
- Ability to motivate team members with a positive and constructive approach to business challenges
- IT skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Office program suite, specifically PowerPoint, Word, outlook
- Proficiency in English is preferable; verbal communication skill with Global staff; reading and writing skill in English.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
We would prefer for you to have:
- Deep knowledge or commercial experience (Sales/Marketing) specific to the Hematology or Nephrology therapeutic areas.
- Proven track record of leading and executing national-level training strategies and programs for new product launches.
- Knowledge of Instructional Design methodologies and experience in developing advanced training programs utilizing Learning Management Systems (LMS) or digital tools.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects or direct people management experience.
