Roles and Responsibilities
- Support the monthly & quarterly close process - submitting estimates, tracking and reporting actuals, driving corrective actions
- Work closely with regions & functions to drive financial planning, estimation & closing cycles for full P&L and Services Inventory
- Analyze and understand cost trends driven by business dynamics; develop account-level expertise and identify key drivers for variances (VPY, VOP, VPE, etc.)
- Develop analytics to create visibility around pricing trends and improve forecasting accuracy; assess impact across modalities/ revenue segments/ offering types, and identify opportunities for price uplift
- Provide timely and accurate reporting across teams spanning multiple countries and legal entities, ensuring financial stewardship & controllership
- Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
- Implement simplification and digitization ideas
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Qualifications in Chartered Accountant/Cost Accountant/MBA Finance
- 4-6 years of progressive finance experience
- Excellent analytical skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
- Strong PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications such as Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, MS Power BI, Spotfire, etc. Strong Excel skills in data compilations and aggregation.
- Self-motivated, high energy individual
- Proven communication and stakeholder management skills
Desired Qualities
- Integrity: accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions and when dealing with others
- Experience working in a global environment with sound understanding of global processes and transaction flows
- Experience working with remote teams
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI is a plus
- Trained and/or certified in process improvement methodology such as LEAN or Six Sigma
- Clear thinking/problem solving: successfully led projects/process improvements within operations/finance functions; able to quickly grasp new ideas
