Position Summary

AJC International is looking for an energetic and dynamic Corporate Services Representative to join our office support team in our Cape Town office.

The Corporate Services Representative preforms a range of clerical and general office duties to help support the company’s internal and external customer service functions in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should be an enthusiastic individual interested in starting an exciting career with an international company!


Qualification and Education Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills; able to communicate effectively with varying levels of internal and external parties via phone, in person, and email
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to multi-task & prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Friendly, outgoing team player, with a positive attitude
  • Ability to think fast on feet; handle situations or emergencies that might arise and require quick decision and/or action
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous international experience or exposure is preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge especially in Excel is preferred.

Scope of Responsibility

• Have a "helicopter view": Regularly assess the overall office environment to spot what might be missing or what could be improved.

• Ensure office supplies are stocked: Proactively check if there are enough supplies and re-order when needed.

• Manage groceries: Keep an eye on the office kitchen to ensure groceries are well[1]stocked.

• Support the OPS team: Assist with sending documents or other tasks that can ease their workload.

• Care for the office environment: Take care of the plants and overall tidiness of the space.

• Travel arrangements: share all travel arrangements, flights, accommodations and events.

• Daily Check: Each day before leaving, ensure that everything is in order. This includes checking that the fridges are adequately stocked and confirming that the printers are functioning properly. Your diligence in these tasks is greatly appreciated.

Language Requirements

  • Candidates must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently.
  • Proficiency in another second language is a plus.
