Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with tracking inbound air freight shipments and monitoring shipment milestones.
- Support the review and verification of shipment documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Help update transportation management systems (TMS) with shipment status information and required milestones.
- Assist in preparing arrival notices and operational reports.
- Support the team in monitoring shipment exceptions and escalating issues as needed.
- Help maintain accurate shipment records and electronic files.
- Assist with data entry and reporting activities related to import gateway operations.
- Support communication with internal departments regarding shipment status and documentation requirements.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and department projects.
- Learn and apply company procedures, compliance requirements, and operational standards.
Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by the Supervisor.
