  • Responsible for achieving the budget and securing the profitability in assigned area by conducting underwriting in the responsible area for property line for which he or she has underwriting authority or, for those cases which he or she does not have the authority, refer to superiors or designated underwriters for handling while securing profitability.

  • Support the Corporate Section Manager for team management. Support, guide and train  subordinate underwriters belong to the team.

  • Analyze risks using UW tools and working with risk engineers, modelers, actuaries and other underwriters and provide quotations for our customers.

  • UWツールを活用し、またリスクエンジニア、モデラー、アクチュアリー、他のアンダーライターと協力しながら、リスクの分析を行うとともに顧客向けの見積もりを提示する

  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize penetration, growth and profitability of Commercial Property in the responsible area.

  • 企業財物保険の浸透、成長と収益性の向上に向けて担当分野における施策を立案・遂行する

  • Communicate and negotiate directly with brokers, agencies and clients when necessary, working closely with distribution.

  • 営業部門と協力しながら必要に応じてブローカー・代理店・顧客と直接コミュニケーションを図り交渉を行う

  • Work closely with Corporate Segment to align segment strategies.

  • コーポレートセグメントと協力してセグメント戦略を進める

  • Collaborate with Distribution, Marketing, Multinational, Claims & Operations, Technology, Training and Sales Management in supporting and/or promoting Commercial Property insurance strategies.

  • Work closely with Claims and Actuary to analyze and predict claim trends and provide input on policy coverage and interpretation.

  • 損害部門・数理部門と協力して、クレーム傾向の分析・予測ならびに約款とその解釈についての見解提供を行う

  • Support to improve operational efficiency of the property UW by working with Operations, Systems and Claims and maximizing existing resources and shared services.

  • 業務の効率化のために事務・システム・損害部門と協力する

  • Engage and cooperate with Risk Engineering function.

  • リスクエンジニアリング部門の活用・連携

  • Conduct promotional activities for property in the responsible area (disseminate best practice, hot-selling tips, underwriting related information, etc., including preparation of material creation). Collect information on market, competitors, etc. for it.
