We are looking for an AIA Billing/AR Support associate to join our credit team!
Key Responsibilities:
AIA Billing:
- Prepare and submit AIA G702/G703 billing documents in accordance with customer contract terms.
- Work closely with sales, project managers, and customers to ensure all billing details are accurate and approved.
- Monitor project billing schedules and deadlines to ensure timely submission.
- Track lien waivers, retainage, and change orders as related to AIA documents.
- Address and resolve billing discrepancies or customer questions promptly.
- Assist in posting customer payments, including checks, ACH, and credit card transactions.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and assist in collections as needed.
- Help maintain accurate customer account records and aging reports.
- Provide backup coverage for AR team during absences or peak times.
- Proved experience with AIA billing (G702/G703 forms) required.
- Knowledge of the construction or wholesale distribution industry preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in AR or related financial functions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/ accounting software (E.g., Ecliplse, Quickbooks, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a plumbing, HVAC, or construction supply environment.
- Familiarity with lien waivers, retainage tracking, and project billing cycles.
