Why This Role Is Right for You
The AI Transformation team is the central group that coordinates and leads Nexi’s generative and agentic AI transformation agenda on several fronts. As such this is a unique opportunity to help shape and deliver the AI journey of Europe’s leading payments technology provider.
About Your Future Role
In this position, you will:
Lead the enterprise-wide AI transformation programme and ensure delivery at pace against revenue, cost, and operational objectives
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to design AI approaches, remove roadblocks to delivery, and ensure progress vs. objectives
Act as the ‘central’ point of contact, triage, and resolution for AI enquiries and idea generation across the group
Lead AI education and enablement efforts – across awareness, training, adoption, and governance to ensure ambitious but ethical and compliant AI use
Closely monitor and evaluate emerging AI trends, capabilities, and competitor approaches – and integrate as needed into our transformation agenda
Serve as internal evangelists for AI use cases and innovation – driving thought leadership, awareness, and co-creation across the business
Act as external ambassadors for how Nexi is deploying a variety of AI tools and approaches for the benefit of merchants and consumers, and for efficiency.
What Makes You a Great Fit
We’re looking for someone eager to make a difference. Here’s what we value:
Solid understanding of generative and agentic AI technologies and their specific enterprise applications in driving innovation and efficiency
Proven experience delivering large-scale enterprise transformation programs
Ability to work cross-functionally in a matrixed environment, ability to influence without authority and align diverse stakeholders
Exceptional communication skills (in idiomatic English) to be able to engage variety of stakeholder groups
Strategic skillset including the ability to deal with ambiguity, structure complexity, and analyse / draw actionable conclusions from data-sets
Self-starter/initiative-taker with ability to dynamically course-correct and continuously navigate to impact
Bonus Skills:
- Financial services / payments experience
