About the Role

To support AIA’s mission of helping customers live healthier, longer, and better lives, the AI Solution Analyst will support the organisation’s Technology, Data and Analytics (TDA) transformation by contributing to the design, implementation, and adoption of AI-enabled solutions. The role will work closely with business and technology teams to understand business requirements, assist in solution design activities, and help translate business needs into practical and scalable technology solutions.
The role will assist in evaluating AI use cases, conducting research, supporting proof-of-concept activities, and helping ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, and governance guidelines.
The AI Solution Analyst will also participate in solution review and governance processes by preparing documentation, tracking actions, and coordinating with relevant stakeholders. Working under the guidance of senior team members, the role will help identify risks, support issue resolution, and contribute to compliance with organisational policies and regulatory requirements.
Beyond project delivery, the role will support knowledge-sharing initiatives, maintain project and solution repositories, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Through collaboration with cross-functional teams, ongoing learning, and a strong focus on stakeholder engagement, the AI Solution Analyst will help drive the successful delivery and adoption of AI solutions across the organisation.

The role holder is expected to embed a customer first mindset in all decisions and actions by developing a clear understanding of customer needs, taking end to end ownership to resolve issues, and working collaboratively across teams to continuously enhance the customer journey—both directly and indirectly.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Strategic AI Leadership & Innovation (30%)


  • Support the delivery of AI initiatives by researching emerging AI technologies, industry trends, and business use cases that may enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Contribute to AI program and roadmap activities by gathering requirements, documenting opportunities, and assisting with the planning and tracking of AI-related projects.
  • Assist in AI solution assessment and experimentation, supporting prototyping, testing, and feasibility studies under the guidance of senior team members and subject matter experts.
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to understand user needs, collect feedback, and help ensure AI solutions align with business objectives and operational requirements.
  • Promote awareness and adoption of AI capabilities by supporting knowledge-sharing activities, preparing presentations or materials, and communicating project outcomes to relevant stakeholders.
  • Continuously build AI and digital skills by staying informed of new technologies, best practices, and organisational standards, applying learning to support ongoing AI initiatives.

AI Solution Design, Research & Applied Innovation (30%)

  • Support the design and implementation of AI solutions by assisting with requirements gathering, data analysis, solution documentation, and testing activities to address business needs.
  • Conduct research on AI, machine learning, and generative AI technologies, summarising findings and identifying potential applications to improve business processes and customer experiences.
  • Assist in proof-of-concept (POC) and prototyping activities, helping to validate solution feasibility, assess business value, and gather stakeholder feedback.
  • Contribute to innovation initiatives by exploring new tools, techniques, and best practices, and sharing insights with team members to support continuous improvement.
  • Support solution testing, validation, and deployment activities, ensuring deliverables meet business requirements and established quality standards.
  • Develop practical AI and analytical skills through hands-on project experience, training, and continuous learning, applying new knowledge to support ongoing AI initiatives.

 

Governance, Compliance & Continuous Improvement (10%)

 

  • Support AI governance and compliance activities by following established standards, policies, and procedures related to enterprise architecture, data privacy, security, and responsible AI practices.
  • Assist in identifying and tracking project risks, issues, and dependencies, maintaining risk logs and escalating potential concerns to project and program leads when required.
  • Coordinate solution review and approval activities, preparing required documentation and working with relevant stakeholders to support governance and compliance processes.
  • Create and maintain project and solution documentation, including meeting notes, process flows, architecture artifacts, decision logs, and knowledge repositories.
  • Support stakeholder communication efforts by preparing status updates, tracking action items, and facilitating information sharing across business, technology, and governance teams.
  • Contribute to knowledge management and continuous improvement initiatives by documenting lessons learned, sharing best practices, and promoting reuse of existing AI solutions, templates, and delivery assets.

Business Communication, Stakeholder Alignment & Change Management (25%)

 

  • Act as a strategic bridge between business and technology, translating business vision into AI solution strategies and executable architecture designs.
  • Communicate complex AI concepts, solution architectures, and trade-offs clearly to senior stakeholders and governance forums.

Strategic Collaboration & Organisational Influence (5%)

 

  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure AI initiatives are aligned with enterprise strategy and business priorities.
  • Influence long-term technology direction and drive adoption of AI capabilities across AIA Group.
  • Act as a thought leader in AI and digital transformation, shaping innovation agendas and elevating engineering and solution design maturity across the organisation.
  • Demonstrates strong ownership of outcomes by proactively identifying risks, driving issue resolution, and ensuring delivery commitments are met with high quality and timeliness.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering, science, or related fields, or equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability.
  • Relevant experience in AI projects
  • Customer focus.
  • Good team player.
  • Strong communication skills in English, Mandarin, or Cantonese.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge/experience in generative AI such as large language models and image generators is a strong plus.
  • Experience in DevOps, ML Ops and LLM Ops.
  • Experience in distributed system tools, such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Redis, Kafka, etc.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum software development process.
