About the Job:

As an AI SEO Quality Analyst at Vendasta, your mission is to ensure the accuracy, effectiveness, and ethical application of AI-powered SEO outputs across our scaled website offerings. You will evaluate the quality of AI-generated content, validate prompt performance, flag hallucinations, and optimize end-to-end SEO workflows. Through hands-on auditing and iteration, you will help embed trust, scalability, and performance into every AI-assisted SEO deliverable.

This role blends SEO expertise, prompt literacy, and data awareness with a QA-driven mindset. You’ll play a key role in reducing risk and maximizing value from AI technologies, ensuring the content we scale is technically sound, search-optimized, and aligned with client expectations.

Note:
This role requires working in CST shift hours, from 7:30 PM to 4:30 AM IST, at our Chennai office (Work from Office).

Your Impact:

As a Senior AI SEO Quality Analyst, you will:

• Perform manual and semi-automated QA audits on AI-generated SEO content (e.g., meta tags, landing page content, FAQ blocks).
• Flag hallucinations, factual inaccuracies, or off-brand tones across AI outputs.
• Test and evaluate prompt performance across common use cases (e.g., keyword mapping, content expansion, internal linking suggestions).
• Provide structured feedback on prompt effectiveness and document recurring errors or training needs.
• Assist in maintaining a scalable framework for prompt versioning and performance scoring.
• Conduct structured SEO quality audits focusing on indexability, keyword alignment, structured data, and on-page performance.
• Validate SEO implementations on client sites (e.g., schema markup, title/H1 tags, Core Web Vitals).
• Partner with team members to identify SEO or content QA gaps that could impact performance or credibility.
• Collaborate with Prompt Engineers, SEO Analysts, and Developers to test AI tools and automated workflows.
• Surface common friction points in AI workflows and suggest refinements.
• Help improve training documentation and AI prompt libraries used by internal teams.
• Use tools like GA4, GSC, SEranking, and Looker to detect performance anomalies related to AI-generated content.
• Participate in retros and sprints by sharing findings, QA summaries, and potential process improvements.
• Help maintain internal benchmarks and dashboards tracking prompt performance and content quality trends.
  
  

What you bring to the table:

• 2–4+ years in SEO or content QA, ideally within a scaled or automated content environment
• Familiarity with technical SEO concepts (indexing, canonicalization, schema, page speed)
• Comfort using AI writing tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Jasper, Claude, etc.
• Experience reviewing or evaluating AI-generated content for quality, bias, or tone
• Familiarity with AI prompt engineering or prompt tuning is a strong asset
• Proficiency with SEO tools: GA4, GSC, SEMrush, SEranking, Screaming Frog
• Analytical mindset and comfort working with structured feedback frameworks
• High attention to detail and ability to spot subtle inconsistencies
• Strong communication skills to deliver feedback clearly to technical and non-technical teams
• Bonus: Experience with LangChain, Make/Zapier, or prompt workflow systems
• Bonus: Certifications in SEO, prompt engineering, or content QA

• Surfer SEO Content Strategy
• Intro to Prompt Engineering (e.g., DeepLearning.AI)
