As our first AI Program Manager within the Data & Systems, Strategy and Operations team, you'll play a pivotal role in accelerating AI adoption both from the ground up and the top down. You'll work cross-functionally with stakeholders throughout the business, co-creating our AI roadmap, supporting teams as they integrate AI into their workflows, and partnering with training teams to ensure every employee has what they need to embrace AI confidently and effectively.
Role Responsibilities: What you'll do
- As a Senior Program Manager for AI, you'll "make sure the job gets done"-owning the end-to-end lifecycle of AI initiatives, from gathering requirements to successful rollout and adoption across Personio.
- Work cross-functionally with stakeholders throughout the business to identify and prioritize impactful AI use cases, ensuring alignment with Personio's strategic goals.
- Shape and maintain a clear, actionable AI roadmap - tracking progress, surfacing risks, and ensuring transparency for all involved teams and leaders.
- Drive and manage AI initiatives as a program manager: gathering requirements, planning, coordinating, and executing projects that advance Personio's AI capabilities.
- Own and champion the adoption, education, and enablement of AI at Personio - partnering with training teams to upskill employees and ensure everyone can use AI confidently and responsibly.
- Ensure all AI programs comply with legal, ethical, and security standards, working closely with relevant teams to embed compliance and sensible AI use into every initiative.
- Develop and track OKRs and key metrics for AI initiatives, ensuring alignment with company objectives and continuous improvement.
- Stay up to date with AI trends and best practices, bringing innovative ideas and ensuring Personio remains at the forefront of practical, value-driven AI adoption.
Role Requirements: What you need to succeed
- 8+ years of program or project management experience, ideally within a SaaS company or a technical team environment.
- Strong understanding of AI concepts, current trends, and practical applications of AI in the workplace; genuine passion for AI and its transformative potential.
- Excellent problem-solving, time management, and technical thinking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and see both details and the bigger picture.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with data, engineering, or systems teams, with a solid grasp of how technology and data-driven initiatives drive business success.
- Highly organized, proactive, and results-driven, with a track record of delivering complex programs from inception to adoption.
