We’re one of the world’s oldest start-ups, and we’re just getting started.

At Husqvarna Group, innovation is in our DNA. With over 330 years of heritage and a passion for pioneering technology, we design and deliver world class products and solutions for forest, park, garden and construction care. From robotic lawn mowers to cutting-edge chainsaws and sustainable battery systems, we’re shaping the future, and we want you to be part of it.

We are now scaling the use of AI across Husqvarna Group and are looking for an AI Product Owner to lead a part of our AI portfolio use cases across our organization.

You will join our AI Hub, our AI Center of Excellence, working at the intersection of business and technology to accelerate the leverage and value of AI.

About the role:

In this role, you will own the direction, prioritization and development of a portfolio of machine-learning use cases, including areas such as prediction, forecasting, optimization, anomaly detection, and computer vision. As our AI function and portfolio evolve, your scope may be adjusted to reflect changing business priorities, emerging opportunities and the needs of the AI Hub.

Working alongside other Product Owners, each responsible for a defined area of the broader AI portfolio, you will help shape a coherent and scalable approach to AI across Husqvarna Group.

This is an active product ownership role where you will set direction, make prioritization decisions, and drive initiatives through the full product lifecycle. You will ensure that solutions address genuine business needs, have the right data and operational foundations, and deliver sustainable value beyond experimentation and technical delivery.

Working closely with business stakeholders, operational teams, technical specialists and governance functions, you will bring structure and focus to a complex and evolving AI landscape.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Own the direction, performance and evolution of a portfolio of machine-learning use cases, adapting its scope as business priorities, technologies and organizational needs evolve.
  • Identify and qualify opportunities by understanding business problems, users, workflows, expected value and the operational conditions required for success.
  • Own and prioritize the backlog and roadmap, balancing business value, strategic fit, feasibility, data readiness, user impact, risk, cost and reuse potential.
  • Drive initiatives through the full product lifecycle, from discovery and experimentation to production, adoption, continuous improvement and eventual retirement.
  • Bridge business and technology, translating needs into delivery-ready requirements and enabling clear decisions across business stakeholders, data and AI specialists, engineering teams and governance functions.
  • Ensure solutions have the necessary data, integrations, evaluation methods, operational ownership and responsible AI controls to deliver sustainable value at scale.
  • Drive adoption and measurable impact, using user feedback, solution performance and business outcomes to guide decisions, communicate progress, and continuously improve the portfolio.

You will report to our VP of AI Value Acceleration.

About you:

You’re an adaptable and accountable Product Owner who thrives in complexity and brings structure, focus, and momentum to areas that are still developing. You combine strategic product thinking with hands-on execution and are comfortable moving between portfolio direction, individual use cases, delivery decisions and adoption challenges.

You are technology-aware but problem-led, and you do not assume that AI, or one particular type of AI, is always the right solution. You build trust across business and technology, make informed decisions despite ambiguity, and remain focused on sustainable business outcomes.

Your skills and background:

  • A university degree in engineering or another relevant technical field, such as computer science, information technology or data science, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager or equivalent leader of digital, data, analytics, automation or AI-enabled products.
  • Experience managing a portfolio or roadmap spanning multiple business areas, stakeholder groups and delivery teams.
  • A broad understanding of applied AI, with relevant knowledge of machine learning and an interest in generative AI, intelligent automation and emerging AI capabilities.
  • The ability to engage credibly with data scientists, AI and ML engineers, software teams, architects and platform specialists without needing to be the technical solution owner.
  • Strong business and product judgement, including the ability to qualify opportunities, challenge assumptions, prioritize investments and make difficult trade-offs.
  • A data-driven approach that combines user feedback, product analytics, evaluation results, operational measures and business-performance data.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to make complex AI concepts understandable and relevant to different audiences.
  • A collaborative and low-ego working style, with the flexibility to share, transfer or take on responsibilities based on what best serves the overall AI portfolio.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
