ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Senior Consultant to drive innovation and deliver transformative AI solutions across Financial Services. This role is ideal for a seasoned AI professional with deep expertise in machine learning, GenAI technologies, and enterprise-level solution design.

This project is with a leading Corporate & Investment Bank where you will act as an AI Product Owner supporting AI transformation initiatives across Credit Risk. You will lead the discovery, design, and delivery of AI use cases, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and enterprise AI strategy.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and drive AI product strategy within Credit Risk, identifying opportunities to enhance underwriting, credit decisioning, and lending processes
  • Lead product discovery, including requirements gathering, use-case prioritisation, and business case development for AI initiatives
  • Own end-to-end AI product lifecycle, from ideation through to delivery and continuous improvement
  • Act as Product Owner within an agile environment, managing backlog prioritisation, sprint planning, and delivery tracking
  • Collaborate closely with data science, engineering, and platform teams to design and deliver scalable AI solutionsner supporting AI transformation initiatives across Credit Risk
  • Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications for AI/ML use cases 
  • Ensure alignment with AI governance, model risk management, and regulatory frameworks specific to Credit Risk
  • Engage with stakeholders across Credit Risk, lending, and compliance teams to ensure solutions meet business and regulatory needs

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 5–8+ years of experience in financial services, consulting, or AI/data transformation roles
  • Strong domain expertise in Credit Risk, lending, underwriting, or credit decisioning processes
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager within AI, data, or digital transformation programmes
  • Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts, including model lifecycle, model evaluation, deployment, and monitoring
  • Experience working on AI use cases within risk or lending domains (e.g. credit scoring, risk modelling, decision engines)
  • Familiarity with Generative AI and its application within financial services is advantageous
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage senior business and risk stakeholders
