• The AI Platform Lead (MCP + Orchestration) will design and implement Innovapptive’s AI Agent Runtime Architecture — the middleware layer that connects AI Agents, microservices, data sources, and human users through a secure and governed control plane.
• This role reports to the VP of Technology & Architecture and partners closely with Product, Engineering, and DevOps leadership to build the MCP (Multi-Agent Control Plane) — the missing foundation required to scale AI Agents safely, predictably, and at enterprise-grade performance.
• This is a hands-on systems architecture role, ideal for someone who can blend engineering depth with architectural vision to build a production-grade, telemetry-rich AI orchestration platform.

1. Architect and Build the Multi-Agent Control Plane (MCP)

• Design and implement the MCP runtime that orchestrates communication, state management, and context flow between AI Agents, APIs, and data stores.
• Define the Agent Execution Lifecycle — registration, routing, task planning, handoff, and feedback loops.
• Implement dynamic context sharing and memory management across agents using vector stores and embeddings.
• Ensure modularity and extensibility for future agent families (Planning, Detection, Scheduling, Knowledge).

2. Implement Governance, Security, and Observability

• Build real-time telemetry pipelines for token usage, model latency, response accuracy, and cost tracking.
• Integrate with Sentry, Datadog, or custom dashboards for full-stack AI observability.
• Implement security, role-based access, and human-in-the-loop (HITL) validation for all agent actions.
• Embed governance logic — policy enforcement, version control, and model selection — directly within the MCP.

3. Orchestrate Agents and Integrations

• Integrate the MCP with Innovapptive’s Connected Worker microservices, SAP, OSI PI, and Maximo APIs.
• Leverage frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, DSPy, or Temporal.io for orchestration.
• Enable hybrid execution models (on-prem + cloud) with asynchronous message-based task dispatching.
• Partner with backend teams to establish seamless communication between AI Agents and transactional systems.

• Create standardized APIs, SDKs, and templates for new agent onboarding.
• Implement AI Agent CI/CD pipelines integrated into engineering’s existing release process.
• Collaborate with DevOps to containerize and deploy MCP components using Kubernetes and AWS services.
• Build version-controlled repositories for prompt templates, agent configurations, and orchestration scripts.

• Work with the Chief AI Architect and Product teams to align AI Agent design with business outcomes.
• Collaborate with Security and Compliance to ensure auditability and traceability of all AI interactions.
• Mentor engineers on building AI-first microservices and telemetry-driven development practices.

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, including 2 years in AI Systems, Platform, or Orchestration architecture.
• Strong expertise in AI frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, LlamaIndex, DSPy) and orchestration systems (Temporal.io, Airflow, Ray).
• Solid background in microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Claude, Azure OpenAI) and embedding pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python, Node.js, or Go; strong grounding in AWS or GCP cloud architecture.
• Deep understanding of AI observability, governance, cost control, and telemetry.
• Excellent system design communication skills and ability to bridge technical and business teams.

• MCP Server live with baseline orchestration, routing, and monitoring.
• Agent runtime integrated with 2+ Innovapptive microservices and at least one external system (SAP or OSI PI).
• Governance and telemetry dashboard operational (latency, cost, usage, failure rate).
• AI orchestration playbook published and adopted by engineering teams.
• Agent onboarding time reduced 50 % through standard SDKs and CI/CD automation.

• This role builds the brain and nervous system of Innovapptive’s AI future.
• The AI Platform Lead transforms fragmented AI initiatives into a unified, observable, and governable platform — enabling Innovapptive’s AI Agents to deliver enterprise-scale reliability, safety, and performance.
• Without this foundation, AI features remain tactical; with it, they become strategic differentiators.
