The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior-level AI/ML Engineer to join our dynamic team to support a DoD client in Suitland, MD. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI/ML development and deployment, with a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable AI solutions on cloud platforms. This role requires advanced knowledge in architecting high-performing AI systems, big data processing, and integrating AI/ML models with existing enterprise systems.
Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML solutions on cloud platforms.

  • Architect high-performing AI systems for various applications, including predictive analytics, natural language processing, and computer vision.

  • Implement and manage AI pipelines and tools on cloud environments.

  • Integrate AI/ML models with existing enterprise systems and ensure seamless operation.

  • Utilize advanced ML techniques and big data processing to enhance model performance.

  • Adhere to Responsible AI policies and develop metrics for evaluating AI solutions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI/ML integration.

  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in AI/ML technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM field.

  • 6–10 years of experience in AI/ML development and deployment.

Experience in Design and Implementation

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing AI/ML solutions and pipeline tools on the cloud.

Advanced knowledge:

  • Advanced knowledge of architecting scalable and high-performing AI systems for predictive analytics, natural language processing, and computer vision.

Cloud AI Platforms:

  • Extensive experience with cloud AI platforms such as Azure Machine Learning, AWS SageMaker, or Google Vertex AI.

  • Big Data and ML Techniques:

  • Demonstrated expertise in big data processing and advanced ML techniques

Integration Skills:

  • Strong experience integrating AI/ML models with existing enterprise systems and cloud platforms.

Programming Languages:

  • Deep knowledge of programming languages for Machine Learning (Python, R, or similar).

AI Cloud Knowledge:

  • In-depth knowledge of AI cloud tools and capabilities.

Responsible AI:

  • Understanding of Responsible AI (RAI) policies and development of metrics, measurements, and evaluation methods for emerging and existing areas of AI.

Certifications:

  • Azure Solutions Architect

  • AI Engineer Associate or equivalent

  • AWS Certified Machine Learning

  • Security+

Desired:

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$113,200 - $237,800
