The role is based in our Warsaw office - established in 2022, it is a growing hub for engineers who love solving impactful problems. Teams here work on a broad range of challenges that push the boundaries of our products and infrastructure.
- 5+ years of experience in Data Science, ML Engineering, or ML Ops, including deploying models into production at scale.
- 2+ years of leadership experience, managing or mentoring technical teams and leading projects end-to-end.
- Hands-on expertise in:
- Search & information retrieval (vector search, lexical search, embeddings, cross-encoders).
- ML Ops practices (observability, CI/CD, on-call, pipelines, recovery strategies).
- Optimizing performance and costs (GPU/CPU utilization, parallelization).
- Proven ability to translate research into production systems, bridging data science and operations.
- Strong technical communication skills—able to align engineers, product managers, and leadership.
- A team player with empathy, ownership, and a passion for solving hard problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Bonus: Experience with fine-tuning models on proprietary data, or evaluating trade-offs between generalization vs. product-specific performance.
