Role Summary
We are hiring a hands-on AI Engineer to build, deploy, and scale AI/ML and Generative AI solutions on AWS. The role focuses on MLOps, AI platform development, GenAI chatbots/agents, and automation use cases across insurance operations (claims, OCR, fraud detection, underwriting). You will work closely with data engineers and business stakeholders to integrate AI into enterprise workflows in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and operate AI/ML platforms on AWS using Terraform / AWS CDK
- Manage ML lifecycle: training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring (MLOps)
- Develop & integrate GenAI solutions (LLMs, chatbots, agents) using LangChain/LlamaIndex
- Implement AI automation for OCR, claims processing, fraud detection, underwriting
- Integrate AI outputs into business systems and workflows
- Evaluate and onboard third-party AI solutions
- Ensure compliance with AI governance, privacy, and responsible AI standards
Required Skills
- Python, ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow/scikit-learn, XGBoost)
- AWS (SageMaker, Lambda/Fargate, CI/CD)
- MLOps (CI/CD, monitoring, model performance tracking)
- Generative AI, LLMs, NLP; LangChain/LlamaIndex
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or AWS CDK)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/Data Science/Statistics or related
- 3+ years in AI/ML engineering or data science
