Marble is fixing the youth mental health crisis by redefining what mental healthcare looks like in the AI era.
Last year, 1 in 10 teens attempted suicide. At the heart of this crisis is a severe lack of access to effective care - when kids & families can't get the help they need, problems compound and preventable tragedies follow.
We're fixing that by building the AI-native platform that provides affordable & timely access to truly effective care. Our platform:
Brings together guardians, schools, therapists & insurers to collaborate together
Has AI powered products for each of these stakeholders to surface the right info & give them the tools to be effective
Extends the reach of care to support kids 24/7 through our patient companion, "Marty"
We're an early-stage, fast-moving team. The people who join now will shape who we are & who we become, not just what we build but how we build.
About the RoleThis is an early AI generalist role where you'll own truly life-changing products end-to-end. You'll work across an AI-first platform, whether that's building the school-facing product that connects students to care, the therapist product that makes clinicians more effective, Marty (our AI-powered patient companion), the revenue cycle management systems, or the internal platform & tooling that all of this is built on.
You'll get to know and deeply understand our end users, and you'll partner directly with product, operations, growth, and clinical teams to ship experiences that expand access to care and elevate its quality. You'll bring strong opinions on what to build, raise the engineering bar, and help define what a thoughtful, AI-native engineering culture looks like at an early-stage company.
This role is hybrid, with three days per week in our SoHo, New York City office.
What You'll DoBuild and iterate on Marble's core product surfaces: the school-facing product, therapist platform, Marty (our AI patient companion), payer systems, and internal tooling
Own features end-to-end — from discovery and execution through rollout, measurement, and iteration
Raise the bar on AI-native ways of working: better tooling, better workflows, and thoughtfully integrated AI features for users and internal teams
Evolve the platform that underpins our product: the AI foundations, event-driven workflows, observability, pragmatic infrastructure, etc.
Create internal tools and automation that reduce operational load and help the team move faster with fewer mistakes
Write clean, maintainable code, improve patterns, and push for simplicity and speed
Collaborate with ops, growth, and clinical partners to understand real-world constraints and translate them into great product
Mentor others and help build a strong, thoughtful engineering culture

What We Do
Marble Health is building the operating system for youth mental health. A platform that connects schools, therapists, health plans, and families - who all have incentives to provide truly effective care to kids struggling with their mental health. Our mission is simple but ambitious: make it dramatically easier for young people to get the mental health care they need, and provide the products that make that care truly effective - ultimately enabling a happier & healthier generation of young people. We’re reimagining how care can work when all the people who want to help are truly connected. Families, who are being devastated by this crisis; Schools, whose budgets are being affecting; Therapists, who want to help but struggle with the complexities of our healthcare system; and Insurance payers, who are paying the price when kids don't receive care. They all have incentives to fix this problem, but historically have been completely siloed. We're changing that. And we're not stopping there. We're also defining the new era of behavioral healthcare with AI at the center. We’re creating what we think of as a “therapist Ironman suite” — a set of AI-powered tools, support systems, coaching, and resources that make clinicians better at their work. We’re building AI capabilities to elevate care quality at scale, from assisting with documentation to providing real-time guidance during sessions. We’re exploring how AI can act as a therapy copilot for students themselves, giving them resources and support between sessions. By pairing a connected care network with cutting-edge AI, we’re aiming to set a new standard for how mental health care is delivered.
