About the Role
We’re looking for an AI Engineering Intern to join our NYC-based team for an internship. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in software development within a fast-paced SaaS environment. You’ll collaborate with experienced engineers and product partners to build features and solve meaningful problems for our customers.

What You’ll Do

• Learn and grow alongside a team of experienced ML engineers and software developers to assist in designing, developing, and implementing ML-powered solutions
• Gain hands-on experience with generative AI, including OpenAI, Anthropic, and other foundational models under the guidance of senior team members
• Support the development of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and work with vector databases like Milvus for efficient similarity search and retrieval
• Assist in building MLOps infrastructure and services while developing fundamental skills in ML engineering
• Following close mentorship from senior team members, contribute to secure, scalable, high-performance, and reliable SaaS applications
• Participate in solution discovery through rapid prototyping, experimentation, and iterative development
• Develop a strong foundation in current ML techniques while actively learning about emerging technologies and best practices in the field
  

Who You Are

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Basic coding ability in Python
• Familiarity with fundamental machine learning concepts and eager to apply them in practical settings
• Interest in vector databases like Milvus, Pinecone, or similar technologies for implementing RAG systems
• Some exposure to major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and eager to gain experience working in AWS
• Curious, collaborative, and eager to solve real-world problems
• Strong communicator and team player
• Prior internship or project experience is a plus, but not required

Compensation: This is a non-exempt role being paid an hourly wage/40 hours a week. 

Hourly Rate: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour. 

Note: Actual salary offered may vary within this range based on  education, knowledge, skills, abilities, relevant experience, internal equity, and geographic location, among other factors. The actual compensation, if offered a position, will be based on these factors.
