Job OverviewAs an AI/ML Engineer Intern at Beli, you'll have the unique opportunity to apply cutting-edge artificial intelligence to enhance how people discover and experience restaurants. Over the course of a 10-week, high-impact internship, you’ll research, prototype, and integrate AI-driven features that elevate Beli’s user experience—from personalization and content understanding to search, discovery, and beyond. You’ll work closely with the CTO, CEO, and software engineers in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your ideas will directly shape the future of the product.
ResponsibilitiesAnalyze & Research: Explore Beli’s rich dataset of user behavior and restaurant information to uncover opportunities for applying AI across the product.
Build & Test: Develop and refine machine learning models and AI-powered features (e.g., natural language understanding, content summarization, personalization, or ranking).
Deploy & Scale: Implement solutions that are performant, cost-effective, and ready for production—bringing your work to millions of Beli users.
Collaborate & Innovate: Work with product and engineering teams to brainstorm creative applications of AI and evaluate their potential impact.
Currently pursuing a Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, AI, ML, Statistics, or a related field
Experience with applied machine learning, data science, or AI product integration
Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
A hands-on, problem-solving mindset with intellectual curiosity and creativity
