The Opportunity
We are seeking a Director of AI Acceleration to lead and oversee the development of large-scale applications, products, services, and foundational technologies from end to end. In this role, you will define and shape innovative frameworks, driving the evolution of your area to ensure operational excellence and scalable solutions. You will influence key technology decisions and provide hands-on leadership to teams, actively engaging in technical details when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in proof of concepts and experiments to evaluate new models and technology.
- Develop high quality, standard-compliant, tested code.
- Contribute code and tools to central re-usable libraries and repositories and open-source projects, in line with P&G IT policies.
- Develop data models, model features, data quality tests, ETL/ELT pipelines, and distributed computer architectures.
- Deploy algorithmic products across the clouds, skillfully leveraging cloud-native services.
- Directly manage other AI engineers, providing coaching, and grooming for development
- Continue to stay up to date on AI landscape, bringing in latest technologies to adapt to P&G business challenges.
Job Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience working across IT or Engineering roles.
- 6+ year technical hands-on experience developing AI/ML applications.
- Demonstrated track record of building production solutions with traditional and Generative AI models.
- Proficient in Python and working in Cloud environments.
- Knowledgeable in code and work management tools: Git, Jira, Confluence.
- Exceptional skills to communicate with cross functional teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to mentor and develop engineering talent.
- Available to work in Cincinnati, OH on a hybrid work schedule which may include up to 30% travel to other sites.
Preferred:
- Masters or PhD in Computer Sciences, Software Engineering or related field.
- 3+ year experience in developing solutions with GenAI, LLM & Agentic tools.
Pay Range: $144,000 - $220,000
Compensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of equal opportunity factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skills, and level of experience.
