This individual must be comfortable working in a hybrid role, with the ability to travel to the Redmond area 4 days per week*

We’re looking for AI developers—both front-end and back-end—who are excited to help shape an agentic platform that empowers users to build and adopt AI agents for enhanced productivity. Ideal candidates will have experience designing and building intuitive user interfaces or robust backend services, depending on their area of focus. You'll collaborate with peers to deliver new features each sprint, ensure high-quality implementation, and maintain data quality monitoring. This role is perfect for someone eager to innovate with open-source tools and Azure technologies while contributing to a dynamic, fast-moving engineering team focused on real-world AI solutions.

As an AI Developer for AG Consulting Partners, a typical day might include the following:

• Collaborating with a cross-functional team to design new AI agent capabilities aligned with business goals.
• Developing intuitive user interfaces that allow users to create and interact with AI agents using modern front-end technologies.
• Building and maintaining backend services that connect open-source and proprietary AI platforms with internal tools.
• Writing clean, scalable, and secure code using Azure technologies and adhering to engineering best practices.
• Monitoring and validating data quality, ensuring robust agent behavior and accuracy across user scenarios.
• Participating in daily standups and sprint planning to track progress and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Testing and refining agent behaviors in collaboration with quality engineers to ensure platform reliability.
• Learning from and contributing to discussions with senior engineers on architectural decisions and technical challenges.
• Creating documentation and user guides to support platform adoption and ease of use.
• Proactively identifying and addressing performance or security issues to ensure optimal platform functionality.

You have:

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent field
• Strong Python experience in API and application development
• Experience with RESTful APIs and basic knowledge of client-server communication
• Good coding practices, version control (Git)
• Proficient in React, with hands-on experience using modern features like Hooks and functional components
• Strong experience with Redux, including middlewares such as redux-thunk or redux-saga
• Solid experience with Fluent UI; experience with Coherence for Fluent is a strong plus
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS (including SASS/LESS), and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Familiar with frontend build tools such as Webpack or Vite, and comfortable with browser debugging tools
• TypeScript proficiency is a strong advantage

You might also have:

• Prefer experience with AI agent development and experience with major AI agent frameworks such as Semantic Kernel, AutoGen etc.
• Prefer experience with Azure API and data services such as Azure API management, front door, and Kusto
• Prefer experience with MCP client and MCP server
• Understand data security best practice, and able to establish development process to achieve data security.

The compensation for this position is tailored to reflect your unique skill set, relevant experience, and the current dynamics of the job market. We strive to ensure that our compensation package is competitive and fair, taking into account various factors to provide a rewarding opportunity for our team members.

The annual salary range for this role is: 120,000 - 160,000 in addition to our comprehensive benefits package.
