In this role, you'll lead complex development efforts, influence technical direction, and integrate large language models (LLMs), APIs, MCP servers, and other AI capabilities into secure, scalable solutions.
You'll work across C#/.NET, HTML5, JavaScript, Bootstrap, CSS, SQL, and cloud services across AWS and Microsoft platforms. Collaborating with developers, analysts, and subject-matter experts, you'll translate complex business needs into maintainable AI-powered solutions, evaluate emerging technologies, and recommend approaches that expand application capabilities and improve workflows.

Responsibilities:
•              Design, develop, test, and enhance GenAI-enabled web application features.
•              Integrate LLMs, AI services, APIs, MCP servers, tools, data sources, and business systems into application workflows.
•              Evaluate technical approaches, recommend solutions, and troubleshoot complex issues involving performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and application integrations.
•              Develop and maintain web APIs, backend services, and SQL solutions to support application functionality and system integration.
•              Leverage AWS, MS cloud services, and AI platforms to develop, deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications.
•              Apply prompt engineering, tool calling, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and other GenAI techniques to enhance application capabilities.
•              Collaborate with developers, analysts, and subject-matter experts to refine requirements and assess feasibility; conduct code reviews, maintain documentation, and follow coding, testing, security, configuration management, and release standards.
Qualifications:
Required:
•              Minimum of two (2) years of relevant web development or software development experience that matches or relates to the technologies outlined below.
•              Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
•              Demonstrated experience developing and supporting web applications using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, C#/.NET, and Bootstrap.
•              Experience developing or integrating GenAI applications, LLM-powered interfaces, AI assistants, or other AI-enabled solutions.
•              Knowledge of AI terminology and integration approaches
•              Experience integrating multiple LLMs or AI services through APIs, SDKs, or other application integration mechanisms.
•              Experience with AI platforms such as Microsoft Foundry, Amazon Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker, or comparable services.
•              Experience developing web APIs, backend services, and SQL-based solutions.
•              Experience using AWS and/or Microsoft cloud services to develop, deploy, monitor, and support cloud-based applications.
•              Familiarity with MCP servers, tools, and integrations that connect AI capabilities to external systems.
•              Practical knowledge of prompt engineering, tool calling, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or similar techniques for building LLM-powered applications.
•              Ability to evaluate technical tradeoffs, troubleshoot complex issues, and develop secure, reliable, and maintainable software.
Desired:
•              Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
•              Experience developing software with Python.
•              Experience with containerized or serverless architectures and cloud services such as AWS Lambda, ECS, RDS, or CloudWatch.
•              Familiarity with Agile methodologies, technical design reviews, and code review practices.
•              Experience supporting applications in Department of Defense (DoD) or Intelligence Community (IC) environments.
•              CompTIA Security+ certification.
