About the role:
Are you passionate about building production-ready AI systems? Join our Setup & Rollout team, the team behind Dashlane's AI Advisor, where you'll help build confidential AI experiences that millions of users can trust.
As a AI Deployment Engineer, you will own the implementation and the maintenance of our new Omnix AI Advisor backend, an AI agent helping our customer admin improving their security posture. You'll own the entire inference stack, from serving infrastructure and system prompt orchestration to model evaluation and performance optimization, ensuring our AI capabilities are secure, reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient. Rather than training foundation models, you'll focus on making them production-ready and seamlessly integrating them into Dashlane's products.
You will work in a highly collaborative environment alongside Senior and Staff engineers who provide continuous mentorship, while partnering closely with product managers, project managers, and quality engineering teams. The Setup & Rollout team is currently focused on optimizing administrative workflows and scaling system integrations to ensure smooth deployments.
Location:
You will be based in Paris, with a hybrid policy (3 office days / week) and English as your working language. At Dashlane, we embrace a hybrid culture that combines the best of both worlds: the creativity and energy of in-person collaboration with the flexibility of remote work. Our model is designed to strengthen team connections while supporting individual productivity and work-life balance. To maximize collaboration, we come together in the office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, while Wednesdays and Fridays offer more flexibility for focused work.
Our stack:
Programming languages: NodeJS, Typescript
Inference engine: llama.cpp
Infrastructure and storage layer: AWS EC2, AWS Nitro (confidential computing), Amazon ECS, MySQL on RDS Aurora, Redis, S3
CI/CD: Gitlab, Terraform
Logging and monitoring: ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) and Datadog
AI : Claude Code
In your role, you will:

Work in a highly collaborative environment where everyone shares ownership of the company's success.
Participate in product and technical design discussions to define the best solutions.
Design and integrate AI solutions, including prompt engineering, inference orchestration, model evaluation and selection, RAG integration, fine-tuning, and end-to-end integration of open-source LLMs into production systems
Maintain and optimise an inference engine or propose and benchmark improvements or alternative solutions
Operate, and optimize self-hosted LLM infrastructure, ensuring reliable, production-ready inference with high performance, scalability, and efficient resource utilization.
Increase the number of tools available for our agent and maintain them
Develop strategic third-party partner integrations and AI-assisted tools within our administrative console
Modernize legacy server-side systems that handle identity management, user provisioning, and corporate onboarding workflows.
Participate in and propose cross-team initiatives aimed at improving engineering efficiency and team culture.
Lean on AI coding platforms like Claude Code to streamline this lifecycle, driving development velocity while maintaining high code quality.

Experience in working with infrastructure on AWS or other HyperScaler
Experience working in a product development team with agile practices
Know how to code, but also to deploy, test, and monitor cloud applications
Interested by quality and security of applications
