About the Job:

As an AI Content Associate, your mission is to learn and apply AI-powered tools to generate and refine digital content that aligns with client brand standards and content strategies. This role is foundational to Vendasta’s scalable content delivery model, enabling the creation of high-volume, high-quality content across blogs, websites, reviews, emails, and social media.
You’ll collaborate closely with team leads and senior strategists while developing fluency in AI editing workflows, prompt design, image integration, and quality assurance best practices. In a fast-paced environment, you’ll contribute to content delivery under guidance while steadily growing your independence and expertise.

Your Impact:

As an AI Content Associate, you will:

  • Generate initial content drafts using AI writing tools (e.g., ChatGPT, internal generators) from detailed briefs and structured prompts
  • Review and edit AI-generated content for clarity, grammar, spelling, punctuation, brand voice, and accuracy
  • Perform basic fact-checking on AI outputs using client-provided sources or official links
  • Ensure that final content adheres to client brand guidelines, tone, and formatting standards
  • Collaborate with senior editors or leads for escalations, complex edits, or campaign-specific requirements
  • Format and optimize content for at least one or two channels (e.g., blog, emails, social media, reviews, or web copy)
  • Add relevant internal links, keyword placements, meta descriptions, or CTA language based on team SOPs
  • Use tools like Canva to generate simple graphics that match the content theme and format requirements
  • Learn and apply prompting techniques to generate better AI output across content types
  • Test and refine workflows to reduce editing time and increase content quality
  • Use AI QA tools (e.g., Grammarly, Writer.com) to support your editing workflow
  • Meet daily content production and editing quotas (e.g., 2,400+ words of long-form content or 54+ social posts with images)
  • Maintain a monthly quality assurance score of 90%+ and meet all internal formatting and submission guidelines
  • Achieve 90%+ retention rating based on performance and consistency
  • Respond to revision requests or feedback in a timely, constructive, and accurate manner
  • Participate in team huddles, briefings, and content retrospectives as needed

What you bring to the table:

  • Preferably at least 6+ months to 1 year of experience in writing, editing, or digital content creation
  • Excellent command of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and readability
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across content types
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and channel-specific content strategy (blogs, websites, social media)
  • Familiarity with content tools like WordPress, Canva, Trello/Asana, and Google Workspace
  • Willingness to learn AI tools and workflows for content generation and editing
  • Ability to create and modify AI prompts to optimize content output
  • Exposure to tools like Grammarly, ChatGPT, Jasper, or internal AI editing environments preferred
  • Ability to analyze and improve AI output using brand tone and structured feedback
  • Adaptability to changing guidelines, priorities, and tools
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills—open to feedback and eager to learn
  • Effective time management and ability to work independently under deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or Marketing preferred.
