JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an AI Proof of Concept (PoC) Lead to accelerate AI adoption across our portfolio of 11 business units. This role is responsible for identifying high-impact AI opportunities, rapidly designing and delivering proof of concepts, and handing off validated solutions to operational teams for scaling and implementation.
The PoCs may be built by internal data teams, IT, external vendors, or engineering partners. This role ensures the right problems are solved, success criteria are defined, and validated solutions are transitioned into implementation.
The ideal candidate combines business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and hands-on AI experimentation to turn ambiguity into tested solutions.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Opportunity Identification & Structuring
      • Partner with business unit leaders to identify AI use cases aligned with strategic priorities.
      • Translate operational pain points into structured AI problem statements.
      • Assess feasibility, data readiness, risk, and potential ROI.
      • Prioritize PoC initiatives based on strategic value and execution viability.
    • PoC Mobilization & Oversight
      • Define scope, success metrics, and measurable outcomes for each PoC.
      • Develop clear business and functional requirements.
      • Coordinate with data scientists, engineers, IT, or external vendors to execute the PoC.
      • Monitor progress and remove blockers.
      • Ensure timelines and objectives are met.
    • Business Validation
      • Evaluate PoC outcomes against defined success criteria.
      • Quantify business impact (cost savings, efficiency gains, revenue potential, risk mitigation).
      • Facilitate stakeholder review and decision-making.
      • Produce clear go/no-go recommendations
    • Handoff & Transition to Implementation
      • Document technical design, assumptions, and performance outcomes.Secure business ownership for scaled implementation.
      • Work with IT, product, or engineering teams to transition validated PoCs into production roadmaps.
      • Ensure governance, risk, and change management considerations are addressed.
    • AI Adoption & Enablement
      • Educate leaders on realistic AI applications.
      • Establish a repeatable PoC intake and evaluation framework.
      • Create visibility across the enterprise on AI initiatives and outcomes.


    QUALIFICATIONS

    •  5+ years in Business Analysis, Strategy, Consulting, Digital Transformation, or Product roles.
    • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in complex organizations.
    • Strong understanding of AI, data, and automation concepts (AI-fluent, though not necessarily building models).
    • Ability to read and understand technical documentation and code at a high level.
    • Strong business case development skills.
    • Excellent stakeholder management across executive and operational levels.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience working in multi-business or matrixed enterprises.
    • Exposure to AI/ML project lifecycles.
    • Familiarity with data architecture and integration considerations.
    • Consulting or internal innovation experience.
