Job Description

Performance Computing Power seeks an experienced Automation Architect developing AI-enabled workflows to shorten customer product validation/performance optimization of Renesas Power Solutions for the datacenter. In addition, you will be responsible for improving engineering efficiency using AI tools and influencing internal processes to maximize productivity. You will engage cross functionally with a diverse team including design, firmware, software, product and applications engineering teams to solve complex problems and shorten development time.  

Responsibilities

  • Develop tools for automated tuning of VR rails in high power CPUs/GPUs using Renesas Power Solutions. 
  • Use of AI based productivity enhancing tools to shorten development time and automate validation. 
  • Accelerate debug through analyzing failure signatures using machine learning and root cause issues.  
  • Build automated infrastructure for system performance optimization. 
  • Support design, FW, and SW teams during execution with AI tool flows for efficiency improvements. 
  • Write collateral to enable use of tools. 

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of multi-disciplinary experience in semiconductor industry 
  • Understanding of power architecture and product types related to multiphase high-power DC-DC power solutions 
  • Experience with automation of hardware to improve validation efficiency  
  • Experience with developing AI assisted tools 
  • Experience with embedded SoC’s including cross-functional collaboration with HW/FW/SW teams 
  • Excellent technical and executive communication skills.  

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required; master’s degree in engineering preferred
