The Wealth Management & Insurance division covers three businesses in all Santander Group countries: Insurance, Asset Management and Private Banking. We work to provide the best solutions to our clients in these three businesses in the 10 countries where we are present.

THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE

Savings & Investments Domain is looking for an AI Adoption & Transformation Lead, based in Boadilla (Madrid).

As an AI Adoption & Transformation Lead, you will be responsible for defining, coordinating and executing the AI Adoption Strategy across all countries and entities within the Savings & Investment Domain.

The mission of the role is to accelerate the adoption of Artificial Intelligence by identifying opportunities to simplify and automate daily tasks, software development and business processes, deploying Global AI solutions, and ensuring consistent execution across geographies.

Working closely with local Business, IT and Operations teams, as well as Global Product and Technology teams, the role will define a common adoption roadmap, align priorities, monitor execution and maximize business value through AI-enabled transformation.

The position requires a strong combination of AI expertise, transformation leadership, program management and change management capabilities to successfully drive AI adoption at scale.

In this role you will:

AI Adoption Strategy

• Define and maintain the AI Adoption Roadmap for the Savings & Investment Domain.

• Establish adoption objectives, implementation milestones and success metrics.

• Align the roadmap with the Domain strategy and Santander's Global AI initiatives.

Country & Entity Engagement

• Partner with local Business, IT and Operations teams to define and agree execution plans.

• Ensure consistent adoption across countries while considering local priorities and regulatory requirements.

• Lead governance forums and executive steering committees to monitor progress and remove execution barriers.

Process Discovery & AI Opportunity Assessment

• Lead the inventory and assessment of all tasks, business and operational processes across the Domain.

• Identify opportunities for simplification, augmentation or end-to-end automation through Artificial Intelligence.

• Prioritize initiatives according to business value, feasibility and implementation effort.

Global AI Products Deployment

• Coordinate the deployment, adoption and value realization of Global AI products and capabilities, including:

  • Devin and Windsurf for Software Development Automation.

  • MAISA for Process Automation.

  • Microsoft 365 Copilot for AI-powered productivity and the creation of AI Agents supporting Business, IT, Operations and other functional teams.

• Coordinate with Global Technology teams to secure licenses, manage onboarding activities and maximize adoption across all entities.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

• Design and execute communication, training and engagement plans.

• Promote AI literacy and foster a culture of AI adoption across the Domain.

• Identify adoption barriers and define mitigation actions to ensure successful implementation.

Change Management & Adoption

• Design and execute communication, training and engagement plans.

• Promote AI literacy and foster a culture of AI adoption across the Domain.

Professional Experience

• 5+ years leading large-scale transformation, digitalization or organizational change initiatives.

• Proven experience managing cross-country or cross-functional transformation programs.

• Strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence technologies and enterprise AI adoption.

• Hands-on knowledge of AI productivity, automation and AI-assisted software development tools.

• Strong project and program management skills.

• Experience designing executive dashboards and performance indicators using Power BI.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate strategy into execution.

Education

• University degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Data, Technology or related fields (Preferred)

Languages

• Spanish: Native or minimum C1 level (Required).

• English: Minimum B2 level (Required).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within Banking or Financial Services.

• Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies.

• Experience in Organizational Change Management.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform and AI Agent development.

• AI-related certifications or equivalent practical experience.
