Agribusiness Executive – Flagship Portfolio
Build Relationships That Matter
We’re proud to partner with some of Australia’s most significant agribusinesses across the Riverina and Hume regions, helping them create successful, sustainable futures.
This is a flagship Agribusiness Executive opportunity—one of the largest and most complex portfolios in our regional agribusiness segment. It’s a role for a senior banker who wants scale, influence, and the chance to make a genuine impact with high‑value clients who matter deeply to Australia’s agricultural economy.
As part of our collaborative and flexible team, you’ll unleash your potential and your clients while doing work that truly matters.
Why Join Us?
We’re in the business of building deep, trusted relationships.
In this role, you’ll manage a high‑value, strategically important portfolio of large‑scale agribusiness clients, many operating with sophisticated corporate structures and complex funding needs. With fewer relationships and significantly larger exposures, this is a high‑touch, high‑impact book suited to an experienced Agribusiness Executive who thrives on depth.
You’ll be supported by an experienced Executive Manager who creates the space for you to do what you do best supported by specialist analysts, product experts, and integrated systems that reduce administration and free you up to focus on your customers.
With your expertise and our market‑leading products and solutions, you’ll deliver meaningful outcomes—today and into the future.
See Yourself in Our Team
Our Regional and Agribusiness Banking (RAB) team is committed to strengthening agribusinesses across Australia and enhancing the financial wellbeing of regional communities.
Based in Wagga Wagga, you’ll work with clients across southern NSW and surrounding regions. We work flexibly—balancing time in the office, on farm and client sites, and remotely—while staying closely connected as a team.
This role suits someone who is highly organised, proactive, and comfortable operating at scale, with the discipline to plan ahead and manage complexity rather than react to it.
What You’ll Do
- Build trusted, long‑term relationships with large and sophisticated agribusiness clients
- Understand complex ownership structures and funding requirements to deliver tailored banking solutions
- Drive growth opportunities while maintaining strong portfolio performance
- Lead deal origination, structuring, negotiation, and execution of complex transactions
- Proactively manage risk, credit quality, and compliance obligations
- Partner closely with analysts and product specialists to deliver end‑to‑end solutions
What We’re Looking For
- A proven relationship‑led Agribusiness banker, operating at or ready for senior portfolio level
- Strong understanding of the Australian Agribusiness landscape
- Demonstrated experience managing high‑value, complex client portfolios
- Deep capability in credit, financial analysis, and cash‑flow assessment
- A proactive, well‑planned approach—this role is not reactive in nature
- A collaborative mindset and strong stakeholder partnership skill
