We’re actively seeking a talented and experienced Agile Product Owner to join our Workforce Benefits division in Newport Beach, CA. This role can be hybrid or fully remote (depending on location).

As an Agile Product Owner in our Strategy & Program Management Office (PMO), you’ll lead the development of our finance capabilities and document generation, in partnership with senior business leaders and development teams, based on deep knowledge and understanding of the customer need. You’ll be responsible for providing direction and guidance to agile teams as well as ownership and accountability for roadmap execution and delivery. You’ll work closely with business leaders to ensure the finance and document generation capabilities align with the business strategy and desired outcomes.

How you’ll help move us forward:

  • Lead the development and implementation financial capabilities and document generation, ensuring alignment with business strategy and customer needs.
  • Provide direction and guidance to agile teams, ensuring effective execution and delivery of the product roadmap.
  • Collaborate with senior business leaders and development teams to define and prioritize product features and enhancements.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear communication and alignment of expectations.
  • Drive process optimization initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness of product development and delivery.
  • Ensure the product meets quality standards and delivers a superior user experience.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance, making data-driven decisions to drive continuous improvement.

The experience you bring:

  • 5+ years of Employee Benefits Experience, we are looking with specific experience with 3 or more of the following products (Long term Disability, Short term disability, Dental, Vision, Life, Accident, Critical Illness, or Hospital Indemnity)
  • 5+ years delivering change initiatives, with extensive knowledge of associated agile methodology, techniques, processes, and approaches.
  • Strong desire to participate in building Agile Product Management within a start-up, growth business within a large organization.
  • Experience with insurance financial concepts, billing, commissions, etc.
  • Experience with insurance documents, policies, certificates, claim letters, et.
  • Proven experience facilitating deliveries that include multiple third-parties and internal resources.
  • Experience in the employee benefits markets highly desired.
  • Ability to work autonomously, setting an agenda in line with company priorities and driving high-impact, high-quality work product through collaborative and individual efforts.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in fast paced environment, juggling multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Compelling and persuasive presenter
  • Strong project management skills

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$131,040.00 - $160,160.00
