Agile Product Management Advisor
Position Overview
In this role as Agile Product Management Advisor, you will facilitate the delivery of technology solutions for a defined group of capabilities or products within the Contact Center domain. You will partner with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, as well as your software engineering team on initiatives that support Cigna’s strategic goals centered on providing the best customer experience possible for Clients, Patients, and internal users. This position will support the advocate experience products or the self-service and voice AI products and having experience and in-depth knowledge of Jira platform is critical to ensuring a smooth transition in light of current projects along with present growth demands for the Contact Center team. In addition, they must be able to work collaboratively as part of a larger technology organization empowered to analyze and deliver innovative solutions to the marketplace.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to initiate new business initiatives and define product needs
- Builds trusted relationships with business and technology partners, collaborates across functional, operational, and technology groups to ensure the appropriate engagement
- Assists with key stakeholder negotiations, serves as the main point of contact to resolve escalations, remove impediments, and tackle conflicts
- Collaborates with business and technology product owners/stakeholders to onboard new initiatives
- Proactively resolves dependencies and conflict effectively across teams to support business initiatives
- Aligns with partners to understand capacity and ensure their prioritization is reflected in the team’s backlog
- Maintains and refines the inflow of work to the team (product backlog)
- Comprehend and provide analysis, requirement solicitation, architecture and design support for scrum team(s)
- Sets and communicates the team’s scope for the current iteration.
- Define the product vision and roadmap
- Be an advocate for user needs and feedback
- Manage the product development lifecycle
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 11-13+ years of experience in an application or product owner or management role, bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience working in technology in an onshore/offshore model.
Required Experience & Education:
- Aptitude for gaining deep knowledge of the industry and business, and proactively using this knowledge to deliver meaningful results
- Ability to successfully facilitate collaboration across multiple functions, departments and levels.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal/relationship management skills.
- Strong time and project management skills.
- Experience in Agile tools (JIRA), collaboration tools (Confluence, SharePoint), ticketing systems (ServiceNow), Tableau
- Experience with Agile development; Agile certification is a plus (i.e. SAFe Product Manager / Product Owner)
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Infrastructure, Software Engineering and other Product teams.
- Ability to develop productive working relationships with both technical and non-technical partners
- UI experience helpful
