Job Summary: 

 

Genesis Consulting has an immediate opportunity for an experienced, forward thinking Senior Agile Organizational Change Management Leader with a passion for business transformation and taking the resource management branch to the next level. This role will perform discovery of the current challenges, develop actionable Change Strategy approaches through execution/adoption of OCM best practices and effectively driving change for the resource management branch. This role is also responsible to assist in organizational and cultural change as a result of adopting Organizational Change Management strategies and agile principles and practices.  

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

The Agile Organizational Change Management (OCM) Leader is responsible for developing and executing data-driven and employee-first change management and communications strategies that improve employee awareness, understanding, adoption, and sustainment of enterprise changes enabling the client to achieve their goals. The Senior Agile Organizational Change Manager works with the team or organization to establish and adapt to Agile practices that help to ensure high quality results and a high level of customer satisfaction. This highly strategic and visible role will report directly to the Executive Managing Director and will work closely with the business group leaders (and their teams), functional / workstream leads (and their teams), and other relevant partners to support the adoption/realization of the enterprise change efforts. The OCM Leader will also be responsible for the planning and execution of all communications, organizational risk assessment as it relates to change management, training, outreach, sponsorship liaison, job transformation, and organizational readiness activities necessary to meet client requirements. Among other duties, the OCM Leader will be able to create an OCM Plan, Communications Plan, Organizational Risk Assessment, Barrier and Risk Assessment and Leadership Action Plans. Other duties and responsibilities include but may not be limited to: 

 

  • Lead the development of comprehensive change management strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.  

  • Collaborate with leadership to define the vision for change and articulate the benefits for all stakeholders.  

  • Identify and engage key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.  

  • Build relationships and communicate the vision, purpose, and benefits of the change initiatives.  

  • Develop and execute communication plans to ensure timely and effective dissemination of information.  

  • Craft compelling messages that resonate with various audiences and address concerns proactively.  

  • Design and implement training programs to equip employees with the skills and knowledge required for successful change adoption.  

  • Provide ongoing support and resources to facilitate continuous learning.  

  • Identify sources of resistance to change and develop strategies to address resistance effectively.  

  • Collaborate with teams to create a culture of openness, transparency, and receptivity to change.  

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and effectiveness of change initiatives.  

  • Conduct regular assessments and analyze data to gauge progress and adjust strategies as needed.  

  • Create and mobilize a network of change champions across the organization.  

  • Empower and equip change champions to support their peers through the change process.  

  • Provide knowledge transfer.  



Requirements

Minimum Qualifications/Experience: 

 

  • 10+ year Experience leading transformational programs for Business and IT organizations   

  • Strong written, verbal communications – experienced in using a variety of medium to communicate with a large geographically diverse audience. 

  • 5+ years of relevant OCM consulting or industry experience supporting large scale custom development or systems integration projects using Agile delivery methodology 

  • 5+ years’ experience using Agile principles, practices, and methodologies such as SAFe, Scrum, XP, Lean, BDD, TDD  

  • 5+ years of progressive accomplishment managing and implementing large, complex information systems. 

  • 5+ years in an agile delivery leadership, management, or coaching role 

  • Proven experience as a Change Management Leader, preferably in a public sector setting, guiding organizations through significant transformations.  

  • Change Management Professional (CMP) or Prosci certification is highly desirable.  

  • Strong understanding of change management methodologies and best practices.  

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.  

  • Strong experience in stakeholder management and engagement, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization. 

  • Humble and results-oriented servant leader with team-first mentality who follows through on commitments 

  • Comfortable leading and facilitating workshops, Agile Ceremonies, Executive and leadership meetings, retrospective, and project status meetings 

  • Experience planning strategic initiatives including developing operating models, plans, associated communications and graphics, and related supporting documentation 

  • Comfortable consulting with and coaching senior management and executives 

 

Minimum Education: 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, organizational development, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred. 

 

Required Certifications: 

 

  • Change Management Professional (CMP) or Prosci certification is highly desirable.
