About the Role

This role delivers reliable, accurate reporting and actionable insights through effective dashboard development and workflow transformation. The role holder applies a data-driven approach by understanding stakeholder requirements, maintaining end-to-end ownership of data quality and process improvements, and collaborating across teams to enhance efficiency, usability, and decision-making.
This role contributes to the delivery of customer outcomes that are reliable, thoughtful, and create meaningful impact for customers and society. The role holder is expected to embed a customer first mindset in all decisions and actions by developing a clear understanding of customer needs, taking end to end ownership to resolve issues, and working collaboratively across teams to continuously enhance the customer journey—both directly and indirectly.

Roles and Responsibilities:


Dashboards Development and Reporting (60%)

  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting on agency related reports, analysis and dashboards including regular or ad-hoc reporting on daily production, progress, contest/convention, monthly agency target, compensation and benefits etc. as well as management reports and Group Office reports.
  • Ensure accurate database and agency hierarchy among all systems.
  • Coordinate users’ requirement of report generation requests
  • Provide comments and recommendations throughout the report generation process so as to improve operational efficiency
  • Maintain and update documented procedures and functional specifications
  • Support enquiries from internal departments
  • Transfers knowledge to application / database developers and project managers.
  • Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by immediate manager to meet business requirements.
  • Interpret business needs of customers and translate them into the application and operational requirements with the help of strong analytical and product management skills
  • Gather information from multiple sources and critically evaluate it, reconcile conflicts, disseminate high-level information into details and distinguish user requests from their true needs

Transformation (40%)

  • Plan, lead and execute departmental transformation exercise and to streamline and eliminate non-value-added workflows / procedures.
  • Oversee and supervise business analysis related system enhancement / dashboard development / report automation projects / performance metrics to support business.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 4 years of practical experience in business analytics, or related roles, preferably in insurance.
  • High proficiency in SQL, Python, and MS Excel are required.
  • Experience with BI Tool(s) such as PowerBI.
  • Ability to understand business needs and translate to BI solutions.
  • Speed and accuracy when processing data.
  • Able to exercise independent judgment and act on it.
  • Strong analytical and reasoning skills.
  • Good problem solving, organizing, time management as well as interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A good team player, enthusiastic and pursue for excellence.
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure.
