The Role:
As the Ag Services Operations Manager, you will manage the daily operations, logistics, and customer relations for our field services. You’ll be responsible for scheduling, team leadership, and ensuring services are completed safely, efficiently, and to customer expectations. Your responsibilities will include:
Operations & Team Management
- Effectively manages and mentors team members. Implements and teaches new services and techniques as they become available. Has a comprehensive understanding of all services provided by the assigned location.
- Follows appropriate standard operating procedures (SOP) for mixing, handling, loading, and applying all chemical products including, but not limited to, chlorine-based solutions, acids, pesticides (insecticides, herbicides, rodenticides), and disinfectants.
- Reads manufacturer’s specifications to calculate, mix, dispose of, and store chemicals.
- Schedule and coordinate application jobs, managing resources and personnel to meet deadlines.
- Maintain and service application equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition.
- Supervise and train a team of field technicians and support staff.
- Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of application jobs, including customer details, chemical usage, and operational costs.
Logistics
- Plan and manage the logistics of transporting chemical products and equipment to various customer sites.
- Optimize routes and schedules to minimize costs and maximize productivity.
- Monitor inventory levels of products and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment.
- Ensures compliance with administrative policies, procedures, safety rules, and governmental regulations.
Customer Relations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, scheduling services, and resolving issues.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Conduct site visits to assess customer requirements and ensure satisfaction with services provided.

Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a related field, relevant experience, or a combination of experience and education, may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Valid CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsement preferred.
- Clean motor vehicle record (MVR) and no preventable accident history.
- Strong knowledge of agricultural practices, chemical products, and application techniques.
Working Conditions:
- Work environments include confined poultry housing, outdoor sites, and warehouse operations.
- Exposure to dust, ammonia, chemicals, humidity, and varying weather conditions.
- Regular physical activity, including lifting up to 60 lbs., squatting, twisting, and climbing stairs.

- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and perform regular physical activities including squatting, twisting, and climbing stairs.
