About the role

Shape the future of our after-market business in China.

We’re looking for a high-energy, driven leader ready to unlock new growth opportunities. In this role, you will lead the team responsible for selling service contracts, accessory sales, and upgrades across China.

You’ll own the core engine of our business – driving strong renewal performance and maximizing warranty conversions – while also pushing beyond the baseline. With a proactive, hunter mindset, you will identify and capture new service opportunities within the uncontracted installed base to generate incremental growth and expand our footprint.

Success in this role means thinking strategically and acting decisively: forecasting across regions, executing bold plans to exceed annual order targets, and shaping our overall after-market strategy for China. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, bring fresh ideas, and are motivated to make a real impact, we want to hear from you.

What you will bring to the role

·         Develop and execute a bold after sales strategy, leveraging market insights and installed base analysis to unlock opportunities across China

·         Drive after-sales warranty conversions and contract renewals to consistently meet and exceed order targets, leading a team of sales specialists

·         Manage a portfolio of strategic and large accounts across China with direct revenue accountability, serving as the primary commercial lead for major service contract and aftermarket opportunities

·         Proactively generate new service business by targeting the uncontracted installed base, reactivating lapsed contracts, and converting uncovered customers into recurring service agreements

·         Own and harmonize forecasting across China to maintain an accurate outlook

·         Build, manage, and convert a strong pipeline across renewals, warranty conversions, and new service opportunities, ensuring rapid lead qualification and continuous opportunity generation

·         Lead the implementation of new ways of working within the team by training, coaching, and developing team members to systematically unlock additional service revenue

·         Establish and track KPIs focused on commercial responsiveness, improving speed and quality of engagement with customers and prospects

·         Partner with marketing to create promotional materials and sales enablement tools

·         Collaborate cross-functionally with back office, field service, marketing, system sales, and other stakeholders to address customer needs and ensure service delivery

About You

·         8-10 years of experience in a sales-driven environment, ideally within service, after-market, or analytical instrumentation businesses

·         Proven leader with the ability to energize and develop an established team, driving change, and embedding new ways of working

·         Comfortable working remotely or in a hybrid setup, with flexibility to travel as required

·         Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; technical or service-oriented background is a strong advantage

·         Highly results-driven and proactive, with a strong focus on exceeding targets and growing service revenue

·         Strong communicator and relationship builder, able to clearly articulate value across diverse customer segments

·         Confident in sales negotiation, deal closing, and pipeline management; experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus

·         Digitally curious and data-driven, leveraging AI and modern tools to enhance lead generation, forecasting, and decision-making

·         Customer-focused, adaptable, and comfortable operating in fast-paced environments with a test-and-learn mindset

·         Collaborative and commercially minded, contributing to marketing initiatives, customer journeys, and business case development
