Job title: Affiliate Operations Manager

Location: Malta or London

Overview of the role:

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Affiliate Operations Manager to join our Betfair International team (part of Flutter International). You will be joining a dynamic team spread across Malta, Brazil, and London, helping to drive the affiliate team’s ambition of growth across various jurisdictions. In this role, you will manage key operational tasks within the affiliate channel and lead a team of three, ensuring they receive the support needed to deliver the channel’s goals and develop in their careers.

This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both, while recognising that quality time together is essential for keeping us mission-aligned.

What you’ll do:

  • Own the Affiliate payment processes, working with the finance department to ensure payments and spend reporting requirements are executed accurately and on time.

  • Lead projects related to new regulatory requirements in all jurisdictions where Betfair International operates.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as CRO, Branding, and the Data team to A/B test creatives, landing pages, and offers.

  • Manage and progress due diligence, especially for new, large-scale, and complex partnerships.

  • Ensure the integrity of the Affiliate channel through compliance QA mapping, customer journeys, and fraud detection.

  • Operate autonomously, make decisions, and escalate issues when required.

  • Become an expert in our Affiliate tracking software, ensuring campaigns are accurately configured for tracking, compliance, and financial accuracy. Provide advice to the team on new reports and software developments.

  • Line-manage three Affiliate executives, ensuring they are supported to achieve the strategic goals of each jurisdiction and encouraged in their personal development.

  • Work closely with the affiliate executives to optimise campaigns through data-driven decisions.

  • Conduct regular QBRs with key strategic partners, reviewing all KPIs and aligning strategy with the roadmaps of each region.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including Betfair UKI counterparts and other brands within Flutter International.

  • Full year planning and project delivery to ensure Betfair always has a presence at key Affiliate events and conferences.

What you’ll bring:

  • Previous experience in Affiliate Marketing or Affiliate Operations with knowledge of a broad range of affiliate types (SEO, Paid Search, Social, and Content).

  • Experience in operational marketing management/tracking platforms. Knowledge of iGaming platforms is an advantage.

  • Expertise in marketing KPIs such as CPA, CPL, and CAC.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience with data analysis and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Keen attention to detail, with the ability to detect irregular affiliate behaviours.

  • Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of additional languages (Spanish, Portuguese, Italian) is an advantage.

  • Commitment to ethical promotion and adherence to industry regulations.

  • Experience managing at least one direct report.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate effectively with collaborators.
