Position Summary

The Junior Team Manager is responsible for leading and managing a team of game presenters in the live casino environment. This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional player experience, and fostering a positive and collaborative team culture. 
The Junior Team Manager reports to the Lead Team Manager and works closely with various departments, including human resources, training academy, and service operations management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

  • Provide leadership, support, guidance, mentoring, to the team of game presenters and hosts.
  • Contribute to the delivery of an exceptional customer experience during live gaming sessions.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that encourages collaboration and professional development.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and performance reviews to ensure individual and team goals are met.
  • Assist in managing of the game presenters' evaluations system for the Team Management department.

Operational Management:

  • Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the game presenter team, ensuring adherence to established procedures and procedures.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess team performance and efficiency.
  • Assist in keeping the Wiki and Jira Spaces for the Team management up to date.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

  • Ensure that game presenters performance adheres to company standards and guidelines during live sessions.
  • Contribute to the analysis of performance data and generate regular reports on team and individual KPIs.
  • Assist in managing the department ticketing system resulting in direct monitoring and reporting.
  • Implement corrective actions to address performance issues and maintain high-quality player experience.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement based on data analysis.

Training and development:

  • Assist in handling of the Induction/Offboarding process for Game Show Presenters.
  • Participate in Team Management Training.
  • Work closely with the training department to develop and update training materials relevant to game presenters' development.

Communication:

  • Facilitate clear and effective communication between the game presenter team and other departments. Act as a liaison between the team and upper management
  • Relay important updates, changes, and best practices to the team in a timely manner.

Scheduling:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive scheduling system to ensure adequate coverage during peak gaming hours.
  • Assist in managing time-off requests and schedule adjustments in accordance with company policies.
  • Monitor and optimize staff levels to meet operational demands.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role, preferably in a live casino or gaming environment is an asset.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills is a must.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities is a must.

 

Additional Information:

  • The employment will be on shift basis.
  • Ability to contribute extra hours outside of regular weekly working hours if required, in order to deliver on tight deadlines.
