Responsibilities
•Liaises between Affiliates, cross-functional internal teams, and other stakeholders as a point of contact for escalating issues within the contracting process.
•Drafts the contract uplift plan for both health and wealth distribution teams for affiliates (new and old) in DD and finalizes it after close.
•Tracks aggregate uplift by year for each affiliate for SteerCo reporting and metrics. Will collaborate to determine additional metrics (i.e., actual uplift vs forecast uplift) by affiliate to report.
•Ensure all affiliates are onboarded accurately and on time with the carriers identified in the integration contracting plan.
•Facilitate meetings throughout the corporate contracting and agent e-contracting (health) to ensure a smooth integration process.
•Develop and update procedures with the Contracting Department to improve the processes at Amerilife. Direct the implementation of process improvements to meet or exceed quality control and performance standards
•Other duties and projects as assigned by leadership
Qualifications
•Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent insurance (health and wealth) contract experience.
•5+ years experience in the insurance industry
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
•Ability to work independently.
•Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with company leaders and colleagues
•Developed understanding or the ability to quickly learn the operational details of corporate contracting, agent contracting/licensing, and commissions.
•Proven ability to manage multiple affiliates at a time while maintaining sharp attention to detail
•Proactive and highly motivated with the ability to work independently and drive change
•Possesses strong knowledge of technology solutions or support services solutions.
