Job Summary
The Advisor Services Specialist will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to financial advisors, ensuring seamless communication, efficient operations, and exceptional service delivery. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a deep understanding of financial products and services.Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for financial advisors, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing expert guidance on a range of topics.
- Assist with account maintenance, trade requests, cash management and coordination with internal departments.
- Facilitate the transfer of assets between accounts and institutions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operational processes and improve service delivery efficiency.
- Prepare and distribute reports, statements, and other relevant documents to advisors as needed.
- Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for advisors to enhance their understanding of Brookstone’s processes and offerings.
- Proactively identify potential issues or areas for improvement within advisor services operations and recommend solutions.
- Facilitate interactions between financial advisors and custodians and other third parties.
- Uphold company policies, procedures, and compliance standards to ensure the integrity and security of client information.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a client-facing role within the financial services industry, preferably in a support or advisory capacity.
- Strong understanding of financial industry and industry regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Professional demeanor with a commitment to delivering exceptional service to financial advisors.
- Experience working with wealth management or advisory firms preferred.
- Familiarity with industry-specific software systems such as Salesforce preferred.
