Job Summary
Entry-level role supporting the development, implementation, communication, and monitoring of Operational Integrity (OI) and HSE processes and standards. Works under the direction of senior advisors and the Manager, Corporate HSE to assist with document control, data compilation and reporting, scheduling and logistics, and routine communications to frontline and support teams. Provides timely support across the Corporate HSE function to sustain compliance and continuous improvement.Job Description
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development, formatting, version control, and routing of OI & HSE policies, procedures, and standards in coordination with the CMS Quality & Governance team.
- Support the drafting, publishing, and communication of HSE alerts, advisories, and process updates; ensure distribution lists are accurate and follow-up actions are tracked.
- Compile HSE performance data and create basic trend charts and dashboards; prepare recurring reports and presentation materials as directed.
- Coordinate the incident reporting workflow (case creation, data quality checks, closure tracking) and assist with the quality review of investigations under supervision.
- Assist in planning and preparing materials for the annual HSE management review and other governance routines (inputs collation, minutes, actions log).
- Provide logistics and scheduling support for site/rig visits, trainings, and program rollouts, capture feedback and follow-up items.
- Maintain the safety catalog (items, vendors, specifications) and assist in evaluating new or alternate safety supplies/products.
- Other duties as assigned; provide day-to-day support to Corporate HSE and cross-functional partners.
Education:
- Minimum Required: Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field; OR a recognized professional certification (e.g., NEBOSH International General Certificate, OSHA General Industry 30, ASP/CSP or regional equivalent).
- Preferred Level: Bachelor’s degree plus one or more relevant professional certifications.
Experience:
- Minimum Required: 0–4 years of HSE-related experience (internships/co-ops accepted); exposure to offshore drilling or heavy industrial operations preferred.
- Preferred Level: 2–4 years in HSE with demonstrated support of management systems, incident reporting, and performance analytics.
Skills:
- Minimum Required: Foundational knowledge of HSE management system standards (e.g., ISO/ISM/API) with ability to learn and apply company requirements; strong organization and follow-through; clear written and verbal communication; proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel/PowerPoint/Word), basic data visualization; attention to detail; ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines; willingness to travel offshore occasionally.
