Key Responsibilities
- RFQ Analysis & Requirement Management
- Review and analyse customer RFQs, specifications, tender documents, functional design specifications, and contractual requirements.
- Understand customer operational requirements and translate them into Metering Skid solutions.
- Identify project scope, assumptions, constraints, risks, and technical challenges.
- Perform detailed requirement analysis and create compliance matrices.
- Identify deviations, exclusions, and potential project risks during proposal preparation.
- Conduct bid qualification and feasibility assessments.
- Solution Engineering
- Convert customer requirements into complete Metering Skid solutions.
- Prepare high-level system architecture and solution design.
- Define requirement for:
- Metering Skid Configuration
- Metering System
- Flow Meters and Flow Computers
- Metering Supervisory
- PLC
- Recommend appropriate software, hardware, and integration solutions based on project requirements.
- Estimation & Costing
- Prepare detailed project estimates based on RFQ requirements.
- Estimate engineering, development, testing, commissioning, and support efforts.
- Develop cost models for software licenses, customization, implementation, and support.
- Prepare effort estimations using historical project data and estimation methodologies.
- Collaborate with technical teams to validate project sizing and complexity.
- Ensure proposal profitability while maintaining competitiveness.
- Bill of Material (BOM) Preparation
- Prepare complete Bills of Material (BOM) including:
- Flow Meters
- Flow Computers
- Metering Skid Instruments
- Metering System Hardware
- Metering Skid components like valves, filters, regulators, pipe, fittings, flanges, structure
- PLC for metering skid operation
- Communication Interfaces
- Industrial Network Components

- Validate BOM completeness, technical compliance, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with procurement and vendor teams for pricing and quotations.
- Gap Analysis & Technical Clarifications
- Perform detailed gap analysis between customer requirements and standard product capabilities.
- Prepare and submit technical clarification questions to customers.
- Participate in clarification meetings and technical discussions.
- Track customer responses and update proposal assumptions accordingly.
- Document all assumptions, exclusions, and dependencies.
