Advanced System Administrator

Position Summary
The Advanced System Administrator will work closely with our Program Manager. The position plays a key part in ensuring financial accuracy, supporting cost management, and enhancing operational efficiency by resolving discrepancies, maintaining data integrity, and streamlining billing processes. This helps ensure clients are billed correctly, protecting the company’s revenue and fostering positive client relationships
Education and Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in Windows System Administration
- At least 3 years of experience managing Azure
- Experience with virtual technologies such as VMware ESX, or Hyper-V
- At least 3 years of experience in Network Administration
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in vendor billing and product usage.
- Should posses’ Excellent communication skill
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
Responsibilities
- Advanced understanding of base concepts and protocols such as TCP, NAT, ARP, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, VLAN, VPN
- Ability to perform end-to-end troubleshooting of issues, where the problem may lie in the storage, server, network, or anywhere in between
- Ability to solve problems quickly and automate processes.
- Ability to quickly find solutions to unfamiliar problems (research skills).
- Ability to follow change controls and security procedures.
- Ability to research and learn new concepts and apply them to future projects
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Experience configuring and managing switches and firewalls
