Role statement: 
Primarily supports the Busbar product line for the RAK, UAE manufacturing location as part of the EMEA Advanced Manufacturing Engineering organization. The role is responsible for supporting new product introduction and development, manufacturing readiness, process development, product transfers, tooling and fixture definition, standardization, and continuous improvement for Busbar production. The position works closely with Product Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Plant Manufacturing Engineering to ensure new and existing Busbar products are launched and supported with robust and scalable manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities: 
•    Support NPDI readiness for Busbar products at the RAK site and ensure manufacturing deliverables are completed on time.
•    Support prototype, pilot, and pre-production builds from a ME perspective.
•    Develop & implement manufacturing plans for new Busbar product & product changes.
•    Ensure manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, layouts, work instructions, drawings, bill of materials, test methods are prepared to support successful launch 
and stable ramp-up.
•    Coordinate industrialization activities with Product Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Plant Manufacturing Engineering.
•    Drive design for manufacturability and design for assembly reviews to improve manufacturability, cost, quality, and process efficiency.
•    Support plant-to-plant product transfers and implementation of standardized manufacturing methods.
•    Assist in development and release of standardized manufacturing documentation, including workmanship standards, process documentation, standard work, and 
operating instructions.
•    Support identification, specification, and justification of key manufacturing processes, tools, fixtures, and equipment.
•    Research and support implementation of new manufacturing technologies and practices for Busbar production.
•    Support manufacturing cost analysis for new and existing products.
•    Assist with capacity analysis, line balancing, layout development, labor optimization,and process flow improvements.
•    Support capital projects related to industrialization, layout changes, tooling, fixtures, equipment, and process capability improvement.
•    Specify manufacturing process capabilities and support development of Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis and control plans to improve manufacturability 
and quality.
•    Coordinate structured problem-solving activities to improve operating performance and meet business objectives.
•    Support Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma projects focused on productivity, waste reduction, quality improvement, and process stability.
•    Implement best manufacturing practices and support replication of proven solutions across Busbar operations where applicable.
•    Act as a technical advisor to the RAK manufacturing site for Busbar-related processdevelopment and industrialization topics.
•    Support ramp-up and stabilization of new or modified processes until target performance is achieved.
•    Ensure all activities are executed in compliance with company standards, environmental health and safety requirements, quality requirements, and applicable 
regulations.

Job Requirements

Education: 
-    Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or other related technical field. 
Language skills: Fluent English

Experience: 
-    Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, advanced manufacturing engineering, industrialization, or technical operations.
-    Experience supporting new product introduction, product transfers, process development, and manufacturing readiness in a manufacturing environment.
-    Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, product data management systems, computer-aided design tools, and manufacturing data analysis tools.
-    Experience with facility or production line layout development using AutoCAD or equivalent software.
-    Strong mechanical aptitude and good knowledge of assembly and fabrication processes.
-    Knowledge of manufacturing methods, tooling, fixtures, process documentation, and new manufacturing technologies.
-    Effective use of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma process improvement tools.
-    Strong communication skills to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
-    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-    Ability to work cross-functionally with Product Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Plant Manufacturing Engineering.
-    Working knowledge of financial and business applications related to cost analysis and capital justification is preferred.
-    Experience with enterprise resource planning / material requirements planning systems is preferred.
-    Experience with capital appropriation or capital project justification is preferred.
-    Experience in Busbar, metal processing, conductor, fabrication, assembly, or similar manufacturing environment is an advantage. 
-    Ability to travel up to 5%
