Purpose of Position

This is a great chance for anyone looking to move into a position of responsibility to gain valuable experience managing a team of AdOps Specialists across multiple territories.
As a AdOps Team Lead you will report into the Regional Lead, AdOps Europe and manage a team dedicated to overseeing housekeeping work for a large range of advertiser programs on the network. This exciting and dynamic role will have many responsibilities including training and developing team members, improving internal processes and maximising efficiencies within the AdOps function. You will be expected to maintain good relationships with other managers within Client Services teams who are supported by AdOps.
Key Tasks
- Effectively manage a team of AdOps Specialists/AdOps interns, ensuring deadlines set by clients and Client Services teams are met in line with the Global AdOps SLA
- Act as a senior escalation point for Client Services teams if issues with service or individual team members arise
- Ensure AdOps team stay up-to-date on important Awin updates e.g. new processes, other department changes, new partners and tools etc.
- Gather feedback from Client Services teams to gauge satisfaction of service, deliverables and support offered by AdOps
- Develop the AdOps team both individually through objectives, and as a team through building a strong community who want to continuously improve
- Coordinate necessary training for team members so they stay on top of processes within the AdOps SLA
- Coordinate any wider company tasks that require assistance from the AdOps team
- Be an advocate for AdOps within the business, reporting on important department KPIs when necessary
- Conduct recruitment and onboarding of new staff when necessary
- Identify opportunities for increased efficiencies, working with the Regional Lead, AdOps Europe to implement new processes or iterations to existing ones
- Develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders across relevant department
- Provide regular feedback to the Regional Lead, AdOps Europe on your team and their performance
Skills & Expertise
- 2+ years account management experience in an affiliate marketing role
- High level of industry and market knowledge which can be passed onto your team
- Experience in coordinating teams in projects and improving working practices
- High level of communication and client relationship skills
- Show an understanding of Awin’s USPs and how our delivery of customer services positions us compared with our competitors
- Exhibit a leadership approach in dealing with AdOps Specialists and all team members
