Adobe Target Developer | About You 

As an Adobe Target Developer, you bring strong technical expertise to deliver personalized and optimized digital experiences. You have a solid foundation in JavaScript and experience implementing Adobe Target in a variety of web environments, including modern rendering frameworks. You’re comfortable working across different testing approaches and understand how to tailor implementations to meet business and technical needs. You thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments where experimentation and performance go hand in hand, and you’re always looking for ways to improve efficiency, scale, and impact. 

Adobe Target Developer | Day-to-Day 

• Develop and manage A/B, multivariate, and personalized experiences across digital channels using Adobe Target. 
• Configure and deploy tests across SPA, SSR, and hybrid applications, including setup and validation of global and local mBoxes. 
• Implement sendEvent() tracking via Alloy.js and integrate Adobe Target with Launch, Delivery, and Recommendations APIs. 
• Collaborate with marketing, development, and analytics teams to define test plans, audience segments, and measurement strategies. 
• Integrate Target experiments with Adobe Analytics (AA), Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), and Consent Management Systems to ensure accurate reporting and compliance. 
• Troubleshoot campaign delivery issues and contribute to scalable testing documentation, automation, and best practices. 

Adobe Target Developer | Skills & Experience 

• 3+ years of experience in Adobe Target development, personalization strategies, or front-end experimentation. 
• Proficient in JavaScript with the ability to write and troubleshoot custom test code directly from Adobe Target. 
• Hands-on experience with Alloy.js and at.js (v2.11+), including configuration, troubleshooting, and use of sendEvent(). 
• Deep understanding of Adobe Target APIs, Launch Reactor APIs, and the appropriate use of global vs. local mBoxes. 
• Familiarity with Delivery and Recommendations APIs in both SPA and SSR environments, including hybrid implementation strategies. 
• Experience integrating Adobe Target with AA, CJA, AEP, and Consent Management Systems, including pre-/post-triggered experience management.
